يفتتح فريق الاتحاد مبارياته الودية بمواجهة فريق فنار بخشة التركي، الساعة 10:00 من مساء غدا (الأربعاء)، ضمن معسكر الفريق الكروي في الغارف البرتغالية، خلال البرنامج الإعدادي للموسم الرياضي الجديد. واستقر المدرب لوران بلان على الأسلوب الفني والعناصر الأساسية التي سيدخل بها اللقاء الودي، ويهدف بلان للاطمئنان على جاهزية اللاعبين لياقياً وفنياً خلال مرحلة الإعداد الحالية.
وسيواصل الفريق الاتحادي خلال معسكره في الغارف البرتغالية خوض عدد من المواجهات الودية أمام غيماريش البرتغالي السبت القادم، وفولهام الإنجليزي الأربعاء القادم، وبورتيمونينسي البرتغالي، السبت الثاني من أغسطس القادم.
ويستعد اللاعبون الدوليون للانخراط في معسكر الغارف البرتغالية الأسبوع القادم، وهم: حامد الشنقيطي، حسن كادش، مهند الشنقيطي، فيصل الغامدي، عبدالرحمن العبود، مروان الصحفي، وصالح الشهري، بعد تمتعهم بإجازاتهم التي منحت لهم عقب فراغهم من المشاركة مع المنتخب السعودي ببطولة الكأس الذهبية 2025.
