أعلن الاتحاد الخليجي لكرة القدم، اليوم الخميس، مشاركة مصر في بطولة كأس الخليج لمنتخبات الشباب.
وذكر الاتحاد الخليجي في بيان عبر حسابه على منصة «إكس»، أن منتخب مصر سيشارك في بطولة كأس الخليج لمنتخبات الشباب، التي تستضيفها مدينة أبها السعودية خلال الفترة من 28 أغسطس وحتى 9 سبتمبر 2025.
وسيشارك منتخب مصر في البطولة الخليجية، بدلاً من نظيره الإماراتي الذي اعتذر عن عدم المشاركة.
وتضم البطولة كلاً من: السعودية (المستضيف)، قطر، مصر، الكويت، عمان، البحرين، العراق، واليمن، حيث من المنتظر أن تشهد البطولة منافسة قوية بين المنتخبات المشاركة، في إطار الاستعدادات المستقبلية للاستحقاقات القارية والدولية لمنتخبات الشباب.
وتٌجرى مراسم سحب قرعة بطولة كأس الخليج للشباب يوم الإثنين 28 يوليو الجاري، وذلك عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي (Zoom).
The Gulf Football Association announced today, Thursday, Egypt's participation in the Gulf Cup for youth national teams.
The Gulf Association stated in a statement via its account on the "X" platform that the Egyptian national team will participate in the Gulf Cup for youth national teams, which will be hosted in Abha, Saudi Arabia, from August 28 to September 9, 2025.
The Egyptian national team will participate in the Gulf tournament instead of the Emirati counterpart, which has apologized for not participating.
The tournament includes: Saudi Arabia (the host), Qatar, Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Iraq, and Yemen, and it is expected that the tournament will witness strong competition among the participating teams, as part of the future preparations for continental and international events for youth national teams.
The draw ceremony for the Gulf Cup for youth will take place on Monday, July 28, via video conferencing technology (Zoom).
