The management of Al-Shabab Club has entered into negotiations with the Saudi international star Hammam Al-Hammami after he entered the "free" six-month period of his professional contract with Al-Ittihad, which allows him to sign with any club without returning to his current club. Hammam Al-Hammami signed his first professional contract with Al-Ittihad in January 2024 for two years, upon the recommendation of the technical staff for youth categories. The player showcased impressive performances with his previous club Al-Khulood last season when he was loaned from Al-Ittihad, where his outstanding technical performance led to his call-up to the Saudi national team. He made his international debut with the national team in a match against Trinidad and Tobago during the 2025 Gold Cup (CONCACAF) tournament.
