فاز فريق فلومينيسي البرازيلي على أولسان هيونداي الكوري الجنوبي (4 - 2) ضمن منافسات الجولة الثانية بالمجموعة السادسة ببطولة كأس العالم للأندية لكرة القدم المقامة حاليا في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
وتقدم فلومينيسي بهدف سجله جون أرياس في الدقيقة (27)، لكن أولسان باغت نظيره البرازيلي بهدفين عبر جين هيون لي ووون سانج يوم في الدقيقتين (37) والثالثة من الوقت المحتسب بدلا من الضائع للشوط الأول.
وخلال الشوط الثاني أحرز جوستافو نوناتو سانتانا هدف التعادل لفلومينيسي في الدقيقة (66)، فيما تكفل خوان بابلو فريتيس بإحراز الهدف الثالث في الدقيقة (83)، وسجل كينو الهدف الرابع لمصلحة فلومينيسي في الدقيقة الثانية من الوقت الضائع للشوط الثاني.
وبهذه النتيجة ارتفع رصيد فلومينيسي إلى (4) نقاط، متفوقاً بفارق هدف على بوروسيا دورتموند الألماني المتساوي معه في ذات الرصيد، وفي المقابل تذيل أولسان هيونداي الترتيب بلا رصيد من النقاط مودعاً المونديال.
