كشفت مصادر لـ«عكاظ»، أن ناديي النصر ونيوم يسعيان للحصول على خدمات النجم الاتحادي أحمد الغامدي، وسيقدم ناديا النصر ونيوم عرضين لنادي الاتحاد من أجل الظفر باللاعب خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية القادمة.
وكان الغامدي خاض تجربة احترافية بعد إعارته من نادي الاتحاد لنادي نيوم في فترة الانتقالات الشتوية الماضية، وساهم مع زملائه في فريق نيوم بالتتويج بلقب دوري يلو الموسم الحالي، والصعود لدوري روشن في الموسم القادم.
في المقابل، أوضح مصدر مقرب من نادي الاتحاد أن اللاعب أحمد الغامدي مرتبط بعقد حتى العام 2027، ولم يتم البت في مصير اللاعب، وستتحدد مسألة بقائه ضمن خارطة العميد في الموسم القادم من عدمه في غضون الأسابيع القادمة.
وكان الغامدي انضم إلى صفوف الفريق الاتحادي في يناير 2024 قادماً من الاتفاق على سبيل الإعارة، ونجح نادي الاتحاد في تفعيل بند الشراء في الفترة الصيفية من العام 2024، ومن ثم إعارة اللاعب لنادي نيوم في الفترة الشتوية 2025.
