هافيرتز يفتتح التسجيل
افتتح أرسنال التسجيل في الدقيقة 15، بعد تمريرة من ريكاردو كالافيوري إلى زميله كاي هافيرتز داخل منطقة الجزاء، قابلها الأخير بتسديدة أرضية سكنت الزاوية اليسرى لحارس كوفنتري.
ساكا يضاعف التقدم
وبعد 8 دقائق فقط عزز فريق المدرب ميكيل أرتيتا تقدمه بهدف ثانٍ، عقب عرضية أرضية أرسلها تزوليس من الجانب الأيسر، فشل الحارس كارل راشوورث في التعامل معها، لتصل إلى بوكايو ساكا الذي سدد كرة سهلة في الشباك.
أوديغارد يختتم الثلاثية
ووقع مارتن أوديغارد على ثالث أهداف «المدفعجية» في الدقيقة 49، بعد تمريرة من بن وايت داخل منطقة الجزاء، قابلها أوديغارد بتسديدة ضعيفة فشل الحارس في التصدي لها بطريقة غريبة، لتسكن الكرة الشباك.
أرسنال يطارد إنجازاً غائباً
يُذكر أن آخر مرة احتفظ فيها فريق أرسنال بلقب الدوري الإنجليزي كانت عام 1935، فيما كانت آخر محاولة له للاحتفاظ باللقب في موسم 2004-2005، عندما احتل المركز الثاني بفارق كبير عن تشيلسي حامل اللقب.
