نُقل الإسباني كارليس بيريز، لاعب برشلونة السابق، إلى المستشفى إثر تعرضه لعضة كلب، بحسب ما أوردته صحيفة «ماركا» الإسبانية.
وأضافت الصحيفة أن بيريز، الذي يلعب حالياً مع فريق أريس سالونيكا اليوناني على سبيل الإعارة من سيلتا فيغو، خضع لستّ غرز طبية، وقد يحتاج إلى إجراء عملية جراحية لاحقاً.
ورغم أن حالته لا تُعد خطيرة، إلا أن عودته إلى الملاعب غير متوقعة في الوقت القريب، إذ يخضع حالياً لمتابعة طبية دقيقة لتقييم تطورات إصابته خلال الأيام القادمة.
ووفقاً للتقارير، فقد كان بيريز يتنزه مع كلبه عندما حاول فض اشتباك مع كلب آخر، ليتعرض للعض أثناء ذلك.
وكان انضمام بيريز إلى الدوري اليوناني الممتاز بمثابة فرصة جديدة لإنعاش مسيرته، بعد موسم متذبذب مع سيلتا فيغو خاض خلاله 27 مباراة وسجل ثلاثة أهداف. إلا أن هذا الحادث خارج الملعب قد يعطّل خططه في الفترة القادمة.
Spanish player Carles Pérez, a former Barcelona player, was taken to the hospital after being bitten by a dog, according to the Spanish newspaper "Marca."
The newspaper added that Pérez, who is currently playing for Aris Thessaloniki in Greece on loan from Celta Vigo, underwent six medical stitches and may need to undergo surgery later.
Although his condition is not considered serious, his return to the pitch is not expected in the near future, as he is currently under close medical observation to assess the developments of his injury over the coming days.
According to reports, Pérez was walking his dog when he attempted to break up a fight with another dog, during which he was bitten.
Pérez's move to the Greek Super League was seen as a new opportunity to revitalize his career, following a fluctuating season with Celta Vigo in which he played 27 matches and scored three goals. However, this off-field incident could disrupt his plans in the upcoming period.
