أعلن نادي تشيلسي الإنجليزي، اليوم السبت، تعاقده مع جيمي غيتنز، قادماً من صفوف بوروسيا دورتموند الألماني.
وقال النادي الإنجليزي في بيان: «يسعد نادي تشيلسي أن يعلن عن التعاقد مع جيمي غيتنز من بوروسيا دورتموند، حيث ينضم بعقد حتى عام 2032».
وأضاف: «يصل اللاعب البالغ من العمر 20 عاماً إلى ستامفورد بريدج بعد أن اكتسب خبرة قيّمة في الدوري الألماني ودوري أبطال أوروبا، حيث شارك في أكثر من 100 مباراة مع الفريق الألماني منذ ظهوره الأول، كما لعب مع منتخب إنجلترا تحت 21 عاماً».
من جانبه، عبر غيتنز عن سعادته بالانضمام إلى البلوز، إذ قال: «إنه شعور رائع أن أنضم إلى نادٍ كبير مثل تشيلسي، أتطلع بشوق للتعلم من جميع أعضاء الفريق ولبذل أقصى جهدي هنا، إنه شعور رائع».
وضمن تشيلسي مقعداً في دوري أبطال أوروبا الموسم القادم 2025-2026، بعد إنهاء مسابقة الدوري الإنجليزي في المركز السادس برصيد 69 نقطة.
Chelsea FC announced today, Saturday, the signing of Jamie Gittens, coming from Borussia Dortmund.
The English club stated in a statement: "Chelsea is pleased to announce the signing of Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund, as he joins on a contract until 2032."
It added: "The 20-year-old player arrives at Stamford Bridge after gaining valuable experience in the Bundesliga and the Champions League, having participated in over 100 matches with the German team since his debut, and he has also played with the England U21 national team."
For his part, Gittens expressed his happiness at joining the Blues, saying: "It's a great feeling to join a big club like Chelsea, I look forward to learning from all the team members and giving my best here, it feels amazing."
Chelsea secured a spot in the Champions League for the upcoming 2025-2026 season after finishing the Premier League in sixth place with 69 points.
