أعلن موناكو الفرنسي، اليوم (السبت)، تعاقده مع بول بوغبا، لاعب يوفينتوس الإيطالي السابق، في صفقة مجانية.
وقال النادي في بيان: «يسر نادي موناكو الإعلان عن انضمام بول بوغبا، إذ وقّع بطل العالم عقداً لمدة موسمين، يبقيه مع الفريق حتى 30 يونيو 2027».
وكان لاعب خط الوسط قد تعرض للإيقاف لمدة أربع سنوات خلال فترة وجوده مع يوفينتوس في مطلع العام الماضي، بعد ثبوت تعاطيه للمنشطات، قبل أن تُخفف العقوبة لاحقاً إلى 18 شهراً.
وخلال مسيرته مع يوفينتوس، تُوج بوغبا بأربعة ألقاب متتالية في الدوري الإيطالي، إلى جانب فوزه بكأس إيطاليا مرتين وكأس السوبر الإيطالي مرتين، كما ساهم في وصول الفريق إلى نهائي دوري أبطال أوروبا 2015.
وعلى المستوى الفردي، خاض بوغبا 190 مباراة بقميص البيانكونيري، سجل خلالها 34 هدفاً وقدم 39 تمريرة حاسمة.
أما على الصعيد الدولي، فكان لبول بوغبا دور بارز في تتويج منتخب فرنسا بكأس العالم 2018 في روسيا، حيث سجل هدفاً في المباراة النهائية أمام كرواتيا، كما أحرز لقب دوري الأمم الأوروبية 2021، وشارك في كأس أمم أوروبا «يورو» 2016 و2020، حيث بلغ المنتخب الفرنسي النهائي في نسخة 2016.
French club Monaco announced today (Saturday) that it has signed Paul Pogba, the former Juventus player, on a free transfer.
The club stated in a statement: "Monaco is pleased to announce the signing of Paul Pogba, as the World Cup champion has signed a contract for two seasons, keeping him with the team until June 30, 2027."
The midfielder had been suspended for four years during his time at Juventus at the beginning of last year after testing positive for doping, before the penalty was later reduced to 18 months.
During his career with Juventus, Pogba won four consecutive Serie A titles, in addition to winning the Coppa Italia twice and the Italian Super Cup twice, and he contributed to the team's reaching the UEFA Champions League final in 2015.
On an individual level, Pogba played 190 matches in the Juventus jersey, scoring 34 goals and providing 39 assists.
On the international stage, Paul Pogba played a significant role in France's victory in the 2018 World Cup in Russia, where he scored a goal in the final match against Croatia, and he also won the UEFA Nations League in 2021. He participated in the UEFA European Championship "Euro" in 2016 and 2020, where the French team reached the final in the 2016 edition.
