وكان صلاح قد تُوّج هذا الأسبوع بجائزة أفضل لاعب في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز من رابطة المحترفين عن موسم 2024-2025، ليُصبح أول لاعب في تاريخ المسابقة يحقق هذه الجائزة 3 مرات.

وفي مقطع فيديو قصير نشره حساب نادي ليفربول على منصة «إكس»، وُجه سؤال لصلاح عمّا إذا كان يحتفظ بجميع جوائزه في خزانة واحدة، فأجاب: «عندما عدت إلى المنزل بجائزة أفضل لاعب، قالت لي مكة: (أنا أحب هذه الجائزة، سأحتفظ بها في غرفتي)، وبالفعل أخذتها».

وأضاف مبتسماً: «عندها بدأت ابنتي الصغرى كيان في البكاء. فقلت لها: (سأمنحك جائزة الحذاء الذهبي، هذه هي جائزتي المفضلة.. خذيها)».

The Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, player of the English club Liverpool, revealed a funny situation involving his two daughters, "Makkah" and "Kayan," due to his individual awards.
Salah was crowned this week as the best player in the Premier League by the Professional Footballers' Association for the 2024-2025 season, becoming the first player in the history of the competition to win this award three times.

In a short video posted by Liverpool's account on the "X" platform, Salah was asked whether he keeps all his awards in one cabinet, to which he replied: "When I came home with the Best Player award, Makkah said to me: (I love this award, I will keep it in my room), and she actually took it."

He added with a smile: "At that point, my youngest daughter Kayan started crying. So I told her: (I will give you the Golden Boot award, this is my favorite award... take it)."
