يشهد الوسط الرياضي المصري حالة من الجدل الواسع بعد ورود أنباء عن عرض مالي غير مسبوق من أحد أندية الدوري السعودي للمحترفين للتعاقد مع إمام عاشور، نجم خط وسط النادي الأهلي المصري وأحد أبرز لاعبي الدوري.
العرض الذي يُعد الأكبر في تاريخ الكرة المصرية، أثار تساؤلات حول مصير اللاعب وموقف النادي الأهلي من هذا الإغراء.
وفقًا لتقارير قناة «أون تايم سبورتس»، تلقى إمام عاشور عرضًا ماليًا ضخمًا من أحد الأندية السعودية، بقيمة تتجاوز بكثير 6 ملايين دولار (ما يعادل حوالى 300 مليون جنيه مصري)، وهو رقم غير مسبوق للاعب مصري في مركزه.
وأشار الإعلامي سيف زاهر، المذيع بالقناة، الذي أعلن الخبر، إلى أن القيمة المالية للعرض قد تُحدث ضجة كبيرة في الأوساط الرياضية، نظرًا لضخامتها وتأثيرها المحتمل على سوق الانتقالات.
وذكرت مصادر، خاصة من داخل النادي الأهلي لـ«عكاظ»، أن نادي «نيوم» السعودي مهتم بخدمات نجم الأهلي المصري وقدم عرضًا بقيمة 5 ملايين دولار، مع إمكانية زيادة المبلغ.
وقال إن العرض قدمته إحدى الشركات الرياضية التي تتولى تسويق اللاعبين، ويأتي في ظل تألق إمام عاشور اللافت مع الأهلي خلال الموسم الحالي، إذ يتصدر قائمة هدافي الدوري المصري برصيد 12 هدفًا، بالتساوي مع أسامة فيصل، مما جعله محط أنظار أندية الخليج، كما أن أداءه المميز في خط الوسط، وقدرته على التأثير في المباريات هجوميًا ودفاعيًا، جعلاه أحد العناصر الأساسية في تشكيلة المدرب مارسيل كولر.
وأضاف المصدر، الذي فضل عدم ذكر اسمه، أن إدارة الأهلي تميل إلى رفض العرض، نظرًا لأهمية إمام عاشور قلب الفريق النابض، ودوره المحوري في تحقيق البطولات، خصوصاً مع اقتراب المشاركة في بطولة كأس العالم للأندية.
فيما كشف مصدر آخر، أن الأهلي قد يدرس العرض إذا تجاوز القيمة المالية التوقعات بشكل كبير، أسوة بصفقات سابقة مثل الجابوني ماليك إيفونا وتريزيجيه ورمضان صبحي، خلال إدارة رئيس الأهلي السابق محمود طاهر، خصوصاً أن بيع اللاعب قد يدر أرباحًا مالية كبيرة، مع إمكانية التعاقد مع بديل في نفس المركز.
على صعيد آخر، كشفت تقارير محلية، أن الأهلي يخطط لتحصين اللاعب مبكرًا عبر تجديد عقده لمدة 4 مواسم إضافية، مع رفع راتبه إلى الفئة الأولى الممتازة، ليصبح في نفس المستوى المالي مع النجوم.

The offer, which is considered the largest in the history of Egyptian football, has raised questions about the player's future and Al Ahly's position regarding this temptation.
According to reports from "On Time Sports" channel, Imam Ashour received a massive financial offer from one of the Saudi clubs, exceeding 6 million dollars (equivalent to about 300 million Egyptian pounds), which is an unprecedented figure for an Egyptian player in his position.
Media personality Saif Zahir, the broadcaster of the channel who announced the news, indicated that the financial value of the offer could create a significant stir in sports circles, given its magnitude and potential impact on the transfer market.
Sources, particularly from within Al Ahly, told "Okaz" that the Saudi club "Neom" is interested in the services of the Al Ahly star and has made an offer of 5 million dollars, with the possibility of increasing the amount.
It was stated that the offer was made by a sports marketing company and comes amid Imam Ashour's remarkable performance with Al Ahly during the current season, as he tops the Egyptian league's scoring list with 12 goals, tied with Osama Faisal, making him a target for Gulf clubs. His outstanding performance in midfield and his ability to impact matches both offensively and defensively have made him a key element in coach Marcel Koller’s lineup.
The source, who preferred to remain anonymous, added that Al Ahly's management is inclined to reject the offer due to the importance of Imam Ashour as the beating heart of the team and his pivotal role in achieving championships, especially with the upcoming participation in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Meanwhile, another source revealed that Al Ahly might consider the offer if the financial value significantly exceeds expectations, similar to previous deals such as Gabonese Malick Evouna, Trezeguet, and Ramadan Sobhi, during the management of former Al Ahly president Mahmoud Taher, especially since selling the player could yield substantial financial profits, with the possibility of signing a replacement in the same position.
On another note, local reports have revealed that Al Ahly plans to secure the player early by renewing his contract for an additional 4 seasons, with an increase in his salary to the top-tier level, placing him on par with the stars.
