The Yemeni Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, vowed to punish the Houthi militia for the crime of targeting recruits in Shabwa Governorate.
He affirmed that the blood of the martyrs will not go in vain, and that the crimes committed by the militias will not be forgotten over time. The day will come when those responsible for these crimes, including their leaders and anyone involved or complicit in their commission, will be pursued and brought to justice to receive their due punishment according to the law.
Haidan emphasized that the terrorist crimes committed by the Houthi coup militia against members of the security institution and its facilities will not deter the ministry's heroes from continuing their national duties in establishing security and stability.
The Minister of Interior, during a call with Shabwa Governor Awad Al-Wazir and the Director General of Police, Brigadier General Fouad Al-Nassi, pointed out that the terrorist targeting of security institutions and their training centers, which are responsible for maintaining security and stability, reveals the terrorist approach and behavior adopted by the Iran-backed Houthi militia towards all the people of Yemen.
Major General Haidan confirmed that such treacherous terrorist acts will not diminish the resolve of the security forces in fulfilling their national duty to maintain security and stability, confront threats to the safety of the governorate and its citizens, and move forward in achieving the objectives of the "Dawn of Yemen" operation to defeat the Houthi militias. He stressed the importance of raising the level of readiness and security vigilance, and enhancing coordination and integration among various units and relevant agencies to ensure a firm response to any attempts aimed at destabilizing security and stability.
