تمكنت القوة المشتركة المتحالفة مع الجيش السوداني من تدمير 49 عربة قتالية تابعة لقوات الدعم السريع، وأسر 70 عنصراً في محور الصحراء.
وأعلن المتحدث باسم القوة المشتركة متوكل علي وكيل في بيان أن القوات استهدفت رتلًا متحركًا تابعًا لقوات الدعم السريع خلال مواجهات شهدها المحور، ما أدى إلى خسائر كبيرة في الأرواح والعتاد، بحسب ما أوردت وكالة الأناضول للأنباء اليوم (الإثنين).
وأشار إلى أن العملية أسفرت عن الاستيلاء على 30 مركبة بحالة جيدة وشاحنة وقود، فيما لا تزال عمليات الحصر مستمرة. وأكد الاستيلاء على عدد من بطاريات تشغيل الطائرات المسيّرة وإلحاق خسائر بقوات الدعم السريع.
ووفق البيان، قُتل 4 من عناصر القوة المشتركة خلال المواجهات، في حين لم يصدر أي تعليق فوري من قوات الدعم السريع بشأن هذه التطورات.
ويشمل محور الصحراء المناطق الصحراوية شمالي وغربي السودان حتى الحدود التشادية والليبية.
وإلى جانب ولاية النيل الأزرق (جنوب شرق) وإقليم دارفور (غرب) تشهد ولايات إقليم كردفان الثلاث (شمال وغرب وجنوب) اشتباكات بين الجيش والدعم السريع منذ 25 أكتوبر الماضي.
من جانبها، حذرت مفوضية العون الإنساني في النيل الأزرق من تدهور الأوضاع الإنسانية للنازحين. وقالت مسؤولة الطوارئ بالمفوضية بتول صديق إن أكثر من 6 آلاف نازح يقيمون في العراء بمنطقة ود الماحي، بينما لا تزال تدفقات النازحين من مدينة قيسان مستمرة وسط أوضاع وصفتها بالحرجة.
وأضافت أن 10 مخيمات للنازحين تشهد اكتظاظًا حادًا وتعاني نقصًا في المساعدات الإنسانية، مشيرة إلى أن بعض المخيمات تواجه أوضاعًا صحية معقدة ونقصًا في مياه الشرب وانتشارًا للكوليرا، داعية شركاء العمل الإنساني إلى التدخل العاجل لدعم ومساعدة النازحين.
وكان المتحدث باسم شبكة أطباء السودان محمد فيصل حسن أكد تعرض عدة مستشفيات ومراكز صحية في ولاية النيل الأزرق للاستهداف وتحول بعضها إلى ثكنات عسكرية.
ويشهد السودان منذ أبريل 2023 مواجهات بين قوات الجيش والدعم السريع أسفرت عن عشرات الآلاف من القتلى ونحو 13 مليون نازح، وفق تقديرات أممية ودولية.
The joint force allied with the Sudanese army managed to destroy 49 combat vehicles belonging to the Rapid Support Forces and captured 70 personnel in the desert axis.
The spokesperson for the joint force, Mutawakkil Ali Wakil, announced in a statement that the forces targeted a moving convoy belonging to the Rapid Support Forces during confrontations witnessed in the axis, resulting in significant losses in lives and equipment, according to what was reported by the Anadolu Agency today (Monday).
He indicated that the operation resulted in the seizure of 30 vehicles in good condition and a fuel truck, while inventory operations are still ongoing. He confirmed the seizure of several drone operating batteries and inflicted losses on the Rapid Support Forces.
According to the statement, 4 members of the joint force were killed during the confrontations, while no immediate comment has been issued by the Rapid Support Forces regarding these developments.
The desert axis includes the desert areas in northern and western Sudan up to the Chadian and Libyan borders.
Alongside the Blue Nile State (southeast) and the Darfur region (west), the three states of the Kordofan region (north, west, and south) have been witnessing clashes between the army and the Rapid Support Forces since October 25.
For its part, the Humanitarian Aid Commission in the Blue Nile warned of the deteriorating humanitarian conditions for the displaced. Emergency official at the commission, Batoul Sadiq, stated that more than 6,000 displaced individuals are living in the open in the Wad al-Mahi area, while the flow of displaced people from the city of Qaisan continues amid conditions described as critical.
She added that 10 camps for the displaced are experiencing severe overcrowding and suffering from a lack of humanitarian assistance, noting that some camps face complicated health conditions, a shortage of drinking water, and the spread of cholera, calling on humanitarian partners to intervene urgently to support and assist the displaced.
The spokesperson for the Sudan Doctors Network, Mohamed Faisal Hassan, confirmed that several hospitals and health centers in the Blue Nile State have been targeted, with some being turned into military barracks.
Since April 2023, Sudan has been witnessing confrontations between the army and the Rapid Support Forces, resulting in tens of thousands of deaths and nearly 13 million displaced individuals, according to UN and international estimates.
