واصلت إسرائيل جرائمها في الضفة الغربية المحتلة، واقتحمت آليات جيش الاحتلال بلدة المغير شمال شرق رام الله، وأغلقت مدخلها الغربي، ومنعت المركبات من الدخول أو الخروج، كما اقتحمت مخيم الجلزون شمال رام الله.
وفي جنين، اقتحمت قوات الجيش الإسرائيلي بلدة جبع واعتقلت شاباً عقب مداهمة منزله. وداهمت أحد المنازل خلال اقتحام بلدة ميثلون جنوب المحافظة، واقتحمت قرية برطعة جنوب غرب جنين، واعتقلت عدداً من العمال الفلسطينيين.
وواصل الجيش الإسرائيلي اقتحام بلدة عزون شرق قلقيلية، وسط حملة مداهمات واعتقالات، واعتقل شاباً عقب مداهمة منزله في ضاحية اكتابا شرق طولكرم.
واعتقلت القوات الإسرائيلية شاباً في بيت لحم، عقب مداهمة منزله في قرية الشواورة شرق المحافظة، فيما اعتقلت شاباً آخر خلال اقتحام منطقة خلة حاضور بمدينة الخليل.
وفي نابلس، اقتحم مستوطنون إسرائيليون بمركباتهم قرية عورتا جنوب شرق المدينة.
وكان الجيش الإسرائيلي، قتل، أمس (الأحد)، طفلاً فلسطينياً في مخيم عسكر للاجئين في شمال الضفة الغربية، وفقاً لمصادر فلسطينية. وأعلنت وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية مقتل الطفل إسلام أحمد ماهر عجوري (14 عاماً) برصاص الاحتلال في مخيم عسكر شرق نابلس.
وقال رئيس لجنة خدمات مخيم عسكر الجديد محمد أبو كشك لوكالة فرانس برس، إن الطفل عجوري وهو من سكان المخيم، قتل برصاص قوات إسرائيلية خلال مداهمتها المنطقة الشرقية من مدينة نابلس، بما فيها مخيما عسكر القديم والجديد للاجئين. وأضاف «لم تكن هناك مواجهات أو اشتباكات تستدعي إطلاق الرصاص على طفل وقتله».
وفي حادثة منفصلة، أصيب إسرائيلي بجروح متوسطة في هجوم طعناً في قرية العوجا شمال أريحا وسط الضفة، بحسب ما أفادت خدمة الإسعاف الإسرائيلية والجيش والشرطة الإسرائيلية.
وتصاعدت أعمال العنف في الضفة الغربية التي تحتلها إسرائيل منذ عام 1967، منذ اندلاع الحرب في قطاع غزة في أكتوبر 2023، إذ قُتل ما لا يقل عن 1,100 فلسطيني، بينهم عدد من المسلحين، برصاص جنود أو مستوطنين إسرائيليين، وفق حصيلة لوكالة فرانس برس تستند إلى بيانات السلطة الفلسطينية.
وأظهرت بيانات رسمية مقتل ما لا يقل عن 48 إسرائيلياً بين مدنيين وعسكريين، في هجمات نفّذها فلسطينيون أو خلال مواجهات مع القوات الإسرائيلية.
وتُعد المستوطنات الإسرائيلية في الضفة الغربية، حيث يعيش ثلاثة ملايين فلسطيني، غير قانونية بموجب القانون الدولي. فيما يُقدَّر عدد سكان هذه المستوطنات حالياً بنحو نصف مليون، دون احتساب المستوطنين في القدس الشرقية المحتلة، الذين يزيد عددهم على 200 ألف.
Israel continued its crimes in the occupied West Bank, with the occupation army's vehicles storming the town of Al-Mughayer northeast of Ramallah, closing its western entrance, and preventing vehicles from entering or exiting. They also stormed the Jalazone camp north of Ramallah.
In Jenin, Israeli army forces stormed the town of Jaba and arrested a young man after raiding his home. They raided one of the houses during the incursion into the town of Muthaloon south of the governorate, and stormed the village of Bartaa southwest of Jenin, arresting a number of Palestinian workers.
The Israeli army continued to storm the town of Izun east of Qalqilya, amid a campaign of raids and arrests, and arrested a young man after raiding his home in the suburb of Iktaba east of Tulkarem.
Israeli forces arrested a young man in Bethlehem after raiding his home in the village of Al-Shawawra east of the governorate, while another young man was arrested during the storming of the Khillat Hadhour area in the city of Hebron.
In Nablus, Israeli settlers stormed the village of Awarta southeast of the city in their vehicles.
Yesterday (Sunday), the Israeli army killed a Palestinian child in the Aida refugee camp in the northern West Bank, according to Palestinian sources. The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of the child Islam Ahmed Maher Ajouri (14 years old) from occupation gunfire in the Aida camp east of Nablus.
Mohammad Abu Kashk, head of the services committee for the new Aida camp, told AFP that the child Ajouri, a resident of the camp, was killed by Israeli forces during their raid on the eastern area of Nablus, including the old and new Aida refugee camps. He added, "There were no confrontations or clashes that would justify firing at a child and killing him."
In a separate incident, an Israeli was moderately injured in a stabbing attack in the village of Al-Auja north of Jericho in the middle of the West Bank, according to Israeli ambulance services, the army, and police.
Violence has escalated in the West Bank, which has been occupied by Israel since 1967, since the outbreak of the war in the Gaza Strip in October 2023, with at least 1,100 Palestinians killed, including a number of militants, by Israeli soldiers or settlers, according to a tally by AFP based on Palestinian Authority data.
Official data showed that at least 48 Israelis, including civilians and military personnel, were killed in attacks carried out by Palestinians or during confrontations with Israeli forces.
Israeli settlements in the West Bank, where three million Palestinians live, are considered illegal under international law. The current population of these settlements is estimated to be around half a million, not including settlers in occupied East Jerusalem, whose number exceeds 200,000.
