أعلنت قناة «الإخبارية السورية»، أن مجموعات «خارجة عن القانون» أغلقت طريق دمشق السويداء أمام المواطنين القادمين من محافظة السويداء باتجاه العاصمة دمشق، في خطوة تهدف إلى عرقلة سير العملية الامتحانية المقررة خلال الأيام القادمة.
وأفادت بأن إغلاق الطريق يهدف وفق المعطيات المتوافرة، إلى منع عدد من طلاب المحافظة من التوجه إلى مراكز الامتحانات الواقعة في ريف السويداء الشمالي، عقب صدور المرسوم الرئاسي المتعلق بالعملية الامتحانية، ما أدى إلى إعاقة حركة العبور على أحد المحاور الرئيسية الرابطة بين دمشق والسويداء.
وحسب مصادر محلية، فإن أوتوستراد دمشق- السويداء أُغلق بشكل جزئي من قبل مجموعة محلية مسلحة في المحافظة، فيما منع حاجز أم الزيتون التابع لما يُعرف بـ«الحرس الوطني» - والتابع لشيخ العقل الدرزي حكمت الهجري - عبور أشخاص إلى ريف المحافظة الشمالي قبل موعد الامتحانات المقرر الأسبوع القادم.
وأضافت المصادر أن عناصر من المجموعات المسلحة عمدت إلى الاعتداء على سيارات مدنيين متجهين نحو العاصمة دمشق، عبر التكسير والضرب، ومنعتهم من متابعة طريقهم، في حين سمحت بدخول شاحنات المواد الغذائية والمحروقات والطحين القادمة من دمشق إلى محافظة السويداء.
وتأتي هذه التطورات في ظل توترات أمنية متواصلة تشهدها محافظة السويداء، التي سجلت خلال العامين الماضيين اشتباكات وحوادث أمنية متقطعة، رغم التوصل إلى اتفاق لوقف إطلاق النار في شهر يوليو 2025، بينما تواصل الحكومة السورية مساعيها لتعزيز سيطرتها الأمنية في المحافظة، مقابل استمرار نشاط مجموعات مسلحة محلية.
The Syrian News Channel announced that "lawless" groups have closed the Damascus-Suwaida road to citizens coming from the Suwaida Governorate towards the capital, Damascus, in a move aimed at obstructing the examination process scheduled for the coming days.
It reported that the road closure aims, according to available data, to prevent a number of students from the governorate from heading to the examination centers located in the northern Suwaida countryside, following the issuance of the presidential decree related to the examination process, which led to the obstruction of traffic on one of the main routes linking Damascus and Suwaida.
According to local sources, the Damascus-Suwaida highway was partially closed by an armed local group in the governorate, while a checkpoint at Um al-Zaytoun, affiliated with what is known as the "National Guard" - linked to Druze Sheikh Hikmat al-Hajri - prevented individuals from crossing into the northern countryside of the governorate ahead of the scheduled exams next week.
The sources added that members of the armed groups attacked civilian vehicles heading towards the capital, Damascus, through smashing and beating, preventing them from continuing on their way, while allowing trucks carrying food supplies, fuel, and flour coming from Damascus to enter the Suwaida Governorate.
These developments come amid ongoing security tensions in the Suwaida Governorate, which has recorded sporadic clashes and security incidents over the past two years, despite reaching a ceasefire agreement in July 2025, while the Syrian government continues its efforts to enhance its security control in the governorate, against the backdrop of ongoing activity by local armed groups.
