كشفت وسائل إعلام صينية، اليوم (الخميس)، تعرض ناقلة صينية كبيرة للمنتجات المكررة لهجوم قبالة ميناء الجير الإماراتية، الإثنين الماضي.
وأفاد موقع «كايشين» الإخباري الصيني أن ناقلة مملوكة لشركة شحن صينية تعرضت لهجوم قبالة ميناء الجير بالإمارات عند مدخل مضيق هرمز، في الرابع من مايو الجاري، مبيناً أن النيران اشتعلت بسطح الناقلة التي كان مكتوباً عليها «المالك وأفراد الطاقم من الصين».
ونقل الموقع الإخباري عن مصدر مطلع بأمور الشركة المالكة للناقلة قوله إن هذه هي المرة الأولى التي تتعرض فيها ناقلة نفط صينية لهجوم، واصفاً ذلك بأنه أمر من الصعب جداً تقبله نفسياً.
من جهة أخرى، ظهرت سفينة حاويات فرنسية في بحر العرب، بعد أن شوهدت آخر مرة في الخليج العربي، في مؤشر على عبور نادر لمضيق هرمز بواسطة سفينة أوروبية غربية.
وذكرت وكالة «بلومبيرغ» أن بيانات تتبع السفن تبين أن السفينة CMA CGM Saigon، وهي سفينة حاويات صغيرة مملوكة لشركة الشحن الفرنسية CMA CGM، شوهدت بعد ظهر الثلاثاء في الخليج العربي، قبالة رأس الخيمة في الإمارات، ثم ظهرت السفينة مجدداً قبالة سواحل عُمان في وقت متأخر من الأربعاء، خلال توجهها إلى كولومبو في سريلانكا.
ورجحت الوكالة أن انقطاع إشاراتها يشير إلى عبور السفينة للمضيق دون رصد، نتيجة إيقاف أجهزة الإرسال والاستقبال الخاصة بها، فيما يُعرف بـ«التخفي».
Chinese media revealed today (Thursday) that a large Chinese tanker carrying refined products was attacked off the coast of Al Jir port in the UAE last Monday.
The Chinese news site "Caixin" reported that a tanker owned by a Chinese shipping company was attacked off the coast of Al Jir in the UAE at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz on May 4th, indicating that flames erupted on the deck of the tanker, which had "Owner and crew from China" written on it.
The news site quoted a source familiar with the affairs of the owning company of the tanker as saying that this is the first time a Chinese oil tanker has been attacked, describing it as something very difficult to accept psychologically.
On another note, a French container ship appeared in the Arabian Sea after being last seen in the Arabian Gulf, indicating a rare crossing of the Strait of Hormuz by a Western European vessel.
Bloomberg reported that ship tracking data shows that the CMA CGM Saigon, a small container ship owned by the French shipping company CMA CGM, was spotted on Tuesday afternoon in the Arabian Gulf, off the coast of Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE, and then reappeared off the coast of Oman late on Wednesday while heading to Colombo in Sri Lanka.
The agency speculated that the loss of its signals indicates that the ship crossed the strait without being detected, due to the shutdown of its transponder, in what is known as "stealth mode."
