أكد رئيس اللجنة التحضيرية لمؤتمر شبوة الشامل العميد صالح علي بلال أن محافظة شبوة تمثل اليوم حجر الزاوية في الدفاع عن الأمن القومي العربي، مشدداً على أن أبناء شبوة يقفون بكل ثبات إلى جانب المملكة العربية السعودية ودول مجلس التعاون الخليجي في مواجهة الاعتداءات الإيرانية.
وقال العميد بلال في حديث خاص مع «عكاظ»: «إن التاريخ يسجل لشبوة أنها كانت من أوائل المحافظات التي كسرت شوكة المد الحوثي منذ مطلع العام 2015م، ولا تزال تقدم قوافل من الشهداء في معركة الكرامة، إدراكاً منها بأنها تمثل البوابة البرية والبحرية الشرقية للخليج والجزيرة العربية».
وحدة الصف تحت مظلة «الشامل»
وأوضح بلال أن شبوة قدمت نموذجاً فريداً بتوحيد كافة مكوناتها السياسية والمجتمعية تحت مظلة «مؤتمر شبوة الشامل»، الذي أصبح الإطار الجامع والمفوض من كافة القوى، مشيراً إلى أن الإجماع الشعبي والسياسي منح محافظ المحافظة الشيخ عوض محمد بن الوزير الثقة المطلقة لقيادة هذا الكيان بصفته المرجعية والمجتمعية التي تلتف حولها كافة النخب والسلطة.
مصير مشترك وتلاحم
وأضاف: «ارتباطنا بالمملكة ودول الخليج ليس مجرد جوار جغرافي، بل هو تلاحم في العادات والتقاليد والمصالح والمصير المشترك؛ فشبوة تتأثر سلباً وإيجاباً بما يدور في محيطها الخليجي، وبياننا الأخير هو تجسيد لروح الأخوة والتضامن المطلق ضد أي عدوان يمس أمن أشقائنا».
رسالة سلام وصمود
وأشاد العميد بلال بالنجاحات العسكرية السعودية في التصدي للاعتداءات الإيرانية وإفشالها، داعياً إيران إلى الكف عن التدخل في شؤون الجوار.
وطالب رئيس اللجنة التحضيرية لمؤتمر شبوة الشامل، العالم الحر بالضغط الحقيقي لإنهاء الحرب والجنوح لسلام عادل يحفظ للمنطقة استقرارها.
The Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the Comprehensive Shabwa Conference, Brigadier General Saleh Ali Bilal, confirmed that the Shabwa Governorate today represents the cornerstone in defending Arab national security, emphasizing that the people of Shabwa stand firmly alongside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in facing Iranian aggressions.
Brigadier General Bilal said in a special interview with "Okaz": "History records for Shabwa that it was one of the first governorates to break the Houthi advance since the beginning of 2015, and it continues to present caravans of martyrs in the battle for dignity, realizing that it represents the eastern land and maritime gateway to the Gulf and the Arabian Peninsula."
Unity of ranks under the umbrella of "Comprehensive"
Bilal explained that Shabwa has provided a unique model by uniting all its political and societal components under the umbrella of the "Comprehensive Shabwa Conference," which has become the unifying framework and the authorized body for all forces, pointing out that the popular and political consensus has granted the Governor of the province, Sheikh Awad Muhammad bin al-Wazir, absolute confidence to lead this entity as the reference and community figure around which all elites and authority rally.
Shared destiny and cohesion
He added: "Our connection with the Kingdom and the Gulf countries is not just a geographical proximity, but a cohesion in customs, traditions, interests, and a shared destiny; Shabwa is positively and negatively affected by what happens in its Gulf surroundings, and our recent statement embodies the spirit of brotherhood and absolute solidarity against any aggression that affects the security of our brothers."
Message of peace and resilience
Brigadier General Bilal praised the Saudi military successes in confronting and thwarting Iranian aggressions, calling on Iran to cease its interference in the affairs of its neighbors.
The Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the Comprehensive Shabwa Conference called on the free world to exert real pressure to end the war and move towards a just peace that preserves the region's stability.
