هدد الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان اليوم (الأربعاء) بعواقب للهجمات التي تستهدف البنية التحتية الحيوية في بلاده، داعياً إلى تجاوز الخطاب السياسي.
ونقلت وسائل إعلام محلية إيرانية، رسالة قالت إنها من الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان للشعب الأمريكي، موضحة أن بزشكيان قال في رسالته، إن مهاجمة البنية التحتية الحيوية لإيران تستهدف الشعب الإيراني.
وأضاف: «مثل هذه الأعمال لها عواقب تتجاوز حدود البلاد بكثير»، معتبراً أن «تصوير إيران كتهديد لا يتوافق مع الواقع التاريخي ولا مع الحقائق الملموسة في الوقت الحاضر».
وأشار إلى أن «إيران لا تكن أي عداء للأمريكيين العاديين»، معتبراً أن الشعب الإيراني لا يكن العداء تجاه الشعوب الأخرى بما فيها أمريكا وأوروبا ودول الجوار.
ولفت إلى أن إيران لم تختر في تاريخها الحديث طريق العدوان أو التوسع أو الاستعمار أو الهيمنة، كما أنها لم تبادر قط بإشعال حرب، مشدداً على أنها سعت للتفاوض حول «النووي» وأوفت بالتزاماتها.
ودعا بزكشيان إلى تجاوز الخطابات السياسية، وإعادة النظر في حقائق ماضي إيران وحاضرها وتطلعاتها لمستقبل لا يقوم على المواجهة، بل على الحقيقة والكرامة والتفاهم المتبادل، موضحاً أن العلاقة بين إيران والولايات المتحدة، في عالم تتشكل فيه الروايات المتنافسة والتوترات الجيوسياسية العميقة، لا تزال من أكثر العلاقات التي يساء فهمها.
The Iranian President Masoud Bezhakian threatened today (Wednesday) with consequences for attacks targeting vital infrastructure in his country, calling for a move beyond political rhetoric.
Iranian local media reported a message that it said was from Iranian President Masoud Bezhakian to the American people, stating that Bezhakian said in his message that attacking Iran's vital infrastructure targets the Iranian people.
He added: "Such actions have consequences that go far beyond the country's borders," considering that "portraying Iran as a threat does not align with historical reality or with the tangible facts of the present."
He pointed out that "Iran harbors no hostility towards ordinary Americans," asserting that the Iranian people do not harbor animosity towards other nations, including America, Europe, and neighboring countries.
He noted that Iran has not chosen the path of aggression, expansion, colonization, or hegemony in its modern history, nor has it ever initiated a war, emphasizing that it has sought to negotiate over the "nuclear" issue and fulfilled its commitments.
Bezhakian called for moving beyond political speeches and reconsidering the realities of Iran's past, present, and aspirations for a future based not on confrontation, but on truth, dignity, and mutual understanding, explaining that the relationship between Iran and the United States, in a world where competing narratives and deep geopolitical tensions are forming, remains one of the most misunderstood relationships.
