أطاح تسريب فيديو عن تعذيب وحشي لأسير فلسطيني في معتقل «سدي تيمان» الإسرائيلي، بالمدعية العسكرية يفعات تومر يروشالمي. وأعلن وزير الدفاع الإسرائيلي يسرائيل كاتس، اليوم (الجمعة)، عزل يفعات من منصبها للاشتباه في تسريبها فيديو اعتداء وحشي على أسير فلسطيني العام الماضي.
وقال كاتس إن يروشالمي لن تعود إلى منصبها لتورطها في تسريب المقطع المصور عن معتقل سديه تيمان، متوعدا بمحاكم كل من ساهم في «التشهير الدموي» بالجنود في قضية سديه تيمان.
وكشف جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، أن رئيس الأركان إيال زامير أبعد المدعية العسكرية العامة عن منصبها في إجازة مؤقتة حتى استكمال التحقيقات في أعقاب الاشتباه بضلوع النيابة العسكرية بتسريب الفيديو.
وتجيء هذه الإجراءات بعد تحقيق أجراه جيش الاحتلال، الأربعاء الماضي، بشأن فضيحة تسريب مقطع مصور يظهر تعذيبا وحشيا لأسير من غزة على أيدي جنود إسرائيليين في مركز اعتقال سدي تيمان.
وأفادت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية بأن التحقيق فتح في أعقاب مقابلة أجريت صدفة مع موظفة في النيابة العسكرية خضعت فيه لجهاز كاشف الكذب «البوليغراف» بشأن تسريب هذا الفيديو.
ووفقا لصحيفة «هآرتس»، قالت مصادر في إنفاذ القانون إن هناك شكوكا بأن الفيديو سُرَب من قبل أشخاص مقربين من رئيس الشرطة، وإنه يُتوقع أن تقدم يروشالمي روايتها للأحداث كجزء من التحقيق.
وكانت القناة 12 الإسرائيلية، نشرت الصيف الماضي، مقطعا مصورا يوثق اعتداء جنود إسرائيليين جنسيا على أسير فلسطيني في معسكر سدي تيمان في صحراء النقب، ما أثار موجة غضب عارم في وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي.
وأكدت الصحافة الإسرائيلية أن الأسير أصيب بتمزق في الأمعاء، وإصابة بالغة في فتحة الشرج والرئتين، وكسور في الأضلاع.
A leaked video showing the brutal torture of a Palestinian prisoner in the Israeli "Sde Teiman" detention center has led to the dismissal of military prosecutor Yifat Tomer Yerushalmi. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced today (Friday) that Yifat has been removed from her position due to suspicions of her involvement in leaking a video of the brutal assault on a Palestinian prisoner last year.
Katz stated that Yerushalmi will not return to her position due to her involvement in leaking the footage from Sde Teiman, vowing to prosecute anyone who contributed to the "bloody defamation" of the soldiers in the Sde Teiman case.
The Israeli occupation army revealed that Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir has temporarily removed the military prosecutor from her position until the investigations are completed following suspicions of the military prosecution's involvement in leaking the video.
These actions come after an investigation conducted by the occupation army last Wednesday regarding the scandal of leaking footage that shows the brutal torture of a prisoner from Gaza by Israeli soldiers at the Sde Teiman detention center.
Israeli media reported that the investigation was opened following a chance interview with a military prosecution employee who underwent a polygraph test regarding the leak of this video.
According to the newspaper "Haaretz," sources in law enforcement stated that there are suspicions that the video was leaked by individuals close to the police chief, and it is expected that Yerushalmi will provide her account of the events as part of the investigation.
Last summer, Israeli Channel 12 published a video documenting the sexual assault of a Palestinian prisoner by Israeli soldiers at the Sde Teiman camp in the Negev desert, which sparked a wave of outrage on social media.
The Israeli press confirmed that the prisoner suffered from a tear in the intestines, severe injuries to the anus and lungs, and fractures in the ribs.
