أتلفت النيابة الجزائية المتخصصة اليمنية في العاصمة المؤقتة عدن، اليوم (الخميس)، كميات كبيرة من المخدرات، ضبطتها الحملة الأمنية المشتركة، في سواحل مديرية المضاربة ورأس العارة القريبة من باب المندب، بمحافظة لحج.
وأكد مصدر قضائي يمني أن كمية المخدرات التي أتلفتها النيابة الجزائية اليوم، طن و8 كيلوغرامات، موضحا أن الكمية تتكون من 537 كيلوغراما من مادة الشبو، و401 كيلوغرام من مادة الحشيش، و44 كيلوغراما من مادة الهروين المخدر، و26 كيلوغراما ونحو 150 ألف حبة من مادة الكبتاجون.

أشار المصدر إلى أن إتلاف المخدرات وإحراق مادتي الشبو والحشيش جرى بمقر النيابة الجزائية المتخصصة بالعاصمة المؤقتة عدن، كما تمت عملية إتلاف مادة الهروين والكبتاجون بالساحل بإذابتها وإغراقها بمياه البحر.
وقال المتحدث باسم قوات الحملة الأمنية المشتركة أسعد اليوسفي إن هذه الكمية التي بلغت طنا و8 كيلوغرامات من المخدرات، من ضمنها 150 ألف قرص كبتاجون، ضبطتها قوات الحملة الأمنية المشتركة في شهرَي سبتمبر وأكتوبر الجاري.

من جهته، أوضح مدير عام مكافحة المخدرات في الحزام الأمني المقدم مياس حيدرة الجعدني أن عملية ضبط المخدرات التي تم إتلافها نتاج جهود الأجهزة الأمنية والجيش في مكافحة هذه الآفة الخطيرة، مشيدا بحالة اليقظة الأمنية في مواجهة أكبر خطر يهدد الشباب.

A Yemeni judicial source confirmed that the quantity of drugs destroyed by the criminal prosecution today was one ton and 8 kilograms, explaining that the amount consisted of 537 kilograms of methamphetamine, 401 kilograms of hashish, 44 kilograms of heroin, and 26 kilograms along with approximately 150,000 pills of Captagon.

Types of Destroyed Drugs
The source indicated that the destruction of the drugs and the burning of the methamphetamine and hashish took place at the headquarters of the specialized criminal prosecution in the temporary capital, Aden, while the destruction of the heroin and Captagon was carried out by dissolving and sinking them in the sea.
Spokesperson for the joint security campaign, As'ad Al-Yousufi, stated that this quantity, which amounted to one ton and 8 kilograms of drugs, including 150,000 Captagon pills, was seized by the joint security forces in the months of September and October.

For his part, the Director General of Drug Control in the Security Belt, Major Mays Hider Al-Jadani, clarified that the operation to seize the drugs that were destroyed is the result of the efforts of the security agencies and the army in combating this dangerous scourge, praising the state of security vigilance in facing the greatest threat to youth.
