بعد مواجهات دامت يومين، وأسفرت عن سقوط ضحايا ومصابين، توصل الجيش السوري وقوات سورية الديمقراطية (قسد) إلى اتفاق لوقف إطلاق النار في مدينة حلب، شمال سورية.
وأعلن وزير الدفاع السوري مرهف أبو قصرة، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، الاتفاق مع قائد قوات «قسد» مظلوم عبدي على وقف فوري وشامل لإطلاق النار في شمال وشرق البلاد، في أعقاب وصول وفد من «قسد» إلى دمشق للقاء الرئيس أحمد الشرع، بحضور قائد القوات المركزية الأمريكية، براد كوبر والمبعوث الأمريكي إلى سورية، توماس باراك.
وكتب أبو قصرة على منصة «إكس»: «التقيت قبل قليل مظلوم عبدي في دمشق واتفقنا على وقفٍ شاملٍ لإطلاق النار بكافة المحاور ونقاط الانتشار العسكرية شمال وشمال شرق سورية، على أن يبدأ تنفيذ هذا الاتفاق فوراً».
وأعلنت وكالة الأنباء السورية (سانا)، التوصل إلى اتفاق لوقف إطلاق النار في حيي الشيخ مقصود والأشرفية في مدينة حلب.
إعادة الانتشار في جبهات عدة
وكانت وزارة الدفاع السورية، أفادت بأن قوات الجيش أعادت الانتشار على طول جبهات عدة لقوات قسد في شمال شرق البلاد، بعد تصاعد التوتر بين الجانبين.
واعتبرت في بيان أن هذه الخطوة ليست تمهيداً لعمل عسكري، وإنما تهدف إلى منع الهجمات المتكررة ومحاولات الجماعة التي يقودها الأكراد للسيطرة على أراضٍ.
ونقلت (سانا) عن الوزارة أن تحركات الجيش العربي السوري تأتي ضمن خطة إعادة انتشاره على بعض المحاور شمال وشمال شرق سورية، بعد الاعتداءات المتكررة لقوات قسد واستهدافها للأهالي وقوى الجيش والأمن، ومحاولة السيطرة على نقاط وقرى جديدة. وجددت تأكيد التزامها باتفاق الـ10 من مارس، ولا توجد نوايا لعمليات عسكرية».
إغلاق حيين في حلب
وقال شهود عيان إن الجيش أغلق في وقت سابق حيين بمدينة حلب تسيطر عليهما قوات سورية الديمقراطية، ما أثار احتجاجات متفرقة من جانب السكان.
وحسب الشهود، فإن اشتباكات متفرقة استمرت على مشارف الحيين اللذين يديرهما الأكراد، وأفاد السكان بأن قذائف صاروخية أطلقت من داخل الحيين وأصابت مناطق سكنية قريبة.
وأعلن مصدر أمني أن أحد ضباط الأمن سقط في هجوم على نقطة تفتيش. وقال اثنان من السكان إن عشرات العائلات في الحيين تفر بحثاً عن الأمان.
لا نية للتصعيد
من جانبه، أكد محافظ حلب عزام الغريب أن قوى الأمن الداخلي وقوات وزارة الدفاع تسعى للحفاظ على أمن وسلامة المواطنين، ولا نية لديها لأيّ تصعيد عسكري.
وفي منشور عبر حسابه على «فيسبوك»، قال: «إنّ ما يجري من إعادة انتشار للقوات الحكومية على أطراف المدينة، جاء بعد العديد من الانتهاكات المستمرة التي قامت بها «قسد» خلال الفترة الماضية، وتساندها فلول خارجة عن القانون كانت قد لجأت إليها»، على حد وصفه.
وأضاف أن الحكومة سعت جاهدَةً إلى التحلي بالصبر والالتزام باتفاقية الـ10 من مارس، مؤكداً أن المجال لا يزال مفتوحاً للحوار.
ودعا المحافظ الأهالي إلى التزام المنازل هذه الليلة، والابتعاد قدر المستطاع عن أماكن الاشتباكات، وقال: «نسعى مع الأطراف المعنية إلى التهدئة ووقف الاشتباكات».
وأعلن المحافظ تأجيل الامتحانات وتعطيل الدوام في جميع المدارس والجامعات العامة والخاصة، إضافةً إلى الدوائر الرسمية في مدينة حلب، الثلاثاء، نظراً للأوضاع الراهنة.
التزام حكومي بالاتفاق
وكان المتحدث باسم وزارة الداخلية السورية نورالدين البابا، قال لقناة الإخبارية السورية، أمس الاثنين، إن الرئيس أحمد الشرع قدم فرصة تاريخية لـ «قسد» عبر اتفاق 10 مارس، مؤكداً أن الحكومة ملتزمة بهذا الاتفاق وتسعى إلى حقن الدماء. واعتبر أن سيطرة التيار الانعزالي في «قسد» يمنع نجاح اتفاق مارس حتى الآن، متهماً «قسد» بأنها تسعى باستمرار إلى فتح ممرات لتهريب الأسلحة والممنوعات.
وجدد البابا تأكيد أن قوات الجيش ملتزمة بحماية المدنيين، لافتاً إلى أنها ردت بحزم على مصادر نيران «قسد» في حلب، وأكد أن «قسد» تحرض أهالي حيي الأشرفية والشيخ مقصود على قوات الجيش وقوى الأمن الداخلي.
«قسد» تنفي الاتهامات
ونفى المتحدث باسم قوات سورية الديمقراطية فرهاد شامي الاتهامات الموجهة لعناصر «قسد» باستهداف نقاط تفتيش، قائلاً: «الجماعة لا تملك قوات في حيي الأشرفية والشيخ مقصود».
ودعا فرهاد إلى رفع ما وصفه بالحصار، معتبراً أن ما تقوم به قوات الحكومة يمثل تصعيداً خطيراً يفاقم معاناة السكان المحليين.
الجيش السوري يرد
في المقابل، نفت وزارة الدفاع السورية اتهامات "قسد" بشأن استهداف الجيش السوري للأحياء السكنية في دير حافر، مؤكدة أن هذه الادعاءات مضلِّلة، وتهدف إلى التغطية على جرائمها بحق المدنيين في مناطق شمال وشرق سورية، ومحاولاتها المستمرة لزعزعة الأمن والاستقرار.
After two days of confrontations that resulted in casualties and injuries, the Syrian army and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) reached an agreement to cease fire in the city of Aleppo, northern Syria.
Syrian Defense Minister Marhaf Abu Qasra announced today (Tuesday) the agreement with SDF commander Mazloum Abdi for an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire in the north and east of the country, following the arrival of an SDF delegation in Damascus to meet with President Ahmad al-Shara, in the presence of U.S. Central Command commander Brad Cooper and U.S. envoy to Syria Thomas Barak.
Abu Qasra wrote on the "X" platform: "I just met with Mazloum Abdi in Damascus, and we agreed on a comprehensive ceasefire across all fronts and military deployment points in northern and northeastern Syria, to be implemented immediately."
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) announced that an agreement had been reached to cease fire in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh neighborhoods of Aleppo.
Redeployment on Several Fronts
The Syrian Defense Ministry reported that army forces had redeployed along several fronts of the SDF in northeastern Syria, following escalating tensions between the two sides.
In a statement, it considered this step not a prelude to military action, but rather aimed at preventing repeated attacks and attempts by the Kurdish-led group to seize territory.
SANA quoted the ministry as saying that the movements of the Syrian Arab Army are part of a plan to redeploy on some fronts in northern and northeastern Syria, following repeated assaults by SDF forces targeting civilians and army and security personnel, and attempts to control new points and villages. It reiterated its commitment to the March 10 agreement, stating that there are no intentions for military operations.Closure of Two Neighborhoods in Aleppo
Eyewitnesses reported that the army had previously closed two neighborhoods in Aleppo controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces, which sparked scattered protests from residents.
According to the witnesses, sporadic clashes continued on the outskirts of the two neighborhoods managed by the Kurds, and residents reported that rocket shells were fired from within the neighborhoods, hitting nearby residential areas.
An security source announced that one security officer was killed in an attack on a checkpoint. Two residents stated that dozens of families in the neighborhoods are fleeing in search of safety.No Intention to Escalate
For his part, Aleppo Governor Izzam al-Ghareeb confirmed that internal security forces and Ministry of Defense troops are working to maintain the safety and security of citizens, and there is no intention for any military escalation.
In a post on his Facebook account, he stated: "What is happening with the redeployment of government forces on the outskirts of the city came after numerous ongoing violations committed by the SDF during the past period, supported by outlaws that they had resorted to," as he described it.
He added that the government has strived hard to exercise patience and adhere to the March 10 agreement, emphasizing that the door remains open for dialogue.
The governor urged residents to stay at home tonight and to stay as far away as possible from the areas of clashes, saying: "We are working with the concerned parties to calm the situation and stop the clashes."
The governor announced the postponement of exams and the suspension of classes in all public and private schools and universities, in addition to official departments in the city of Aleppo on Tuesday, due to the current situation.Government Commitment to the Agreement
The spokesperson for the Syrian Interior Ministry, Nour al-Din al-Baba, said to the Syrian News Channel on Monday that President Ahmad al-Shara offered a historic opportunity to the SDF through the March 10 agreement, affirming that the government is committed to this agreement and seeks to prevent bloodshed. He considered that the control of the isolationist current in the SDF is preventing the success of the March agreement so far, accusing the SDF of continuously seeking to open corridors for smuggling weapons and contraband.
Al-Baba reiterated that the army forces are committed to protecting civilians, noting that they have responded firmly to the sources of fire from the SDF in Aleppo, and confirmed that the SDF incites the residents of the Ashrafiyeh and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods against the army and internal security forces.SDF Denies the Accusations
The spokesperson for the Syrian Democratic Forces, Farhad Shami, denied the accusations directed at SDF members regarding targeting checkpoints, stating: "The group does not have forces in the Ashrafiyeh and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods."
Farhad called for lifting what he described as a siege, considering that the actions of government forces represent a serious escalation that exacerbates the suffering of local residents.
The Syrian army responds
In contrast, the Syrian Defense Ministry denied the SDF's accusations regarding the Syrian army targeting residential neighborhoods in Deir Hafer, confirming that these claims are misleading and aim to cover up its crimes against civilians in northern and eastern Syria, and its ongoing attempts to destabilize security and stability.
