أعلنت وزارة الخارجية البرتغالية مساء أمس (الجمعة) أن البرتغال ستعترف رسمياً الأحد القادم بدولة فلسطين، وذلك قبيل انعقاد جلسة للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، حيث من المقرر أن تتخذ نحو 10 دول أخرى نفس الخطوة.
وأكدت الوزارة في بيان نشر على موقعها الإلكتروني أن «البرتغال ستعترف بدولة فلسطين، وسيتم الإعلان عن الاعتراف الرسمي يوم الأحد 21 سبتمبر».
The Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced yesterday evening (Friday) that Portugal will officially recognize the State of Palestine next Sunday, just before a session of the United Nations General Assembly, where about 10 other countries are expected to take the same step.
The ministry confirmed in a statement published on its website that "Portugal will recognize the State of Palestine, and the official recognition will be announced on Sunday, September 21."
