أعلن الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين، أن روسيا ستطبق نظام الدخول بدون تأشيرة للمواطنين الصينيين، في لفتة متبادلة بعد تخفيف بكين لقواعد السفر للروس.
وقال بوتين -وفقًا لوكالة الأنباء الروسية الرسمية «تاس»-: «بالطبع، سترد روسيا على هذه اللفتة الودية، سنفعل الشيء نفسه».
وذكرت تاس -نقلًا عن وزارة الخارجية الصينية- أنه اعتبارًا من 15 سبتمبر، سيتمكن الروس من دخول الصين للإقامة لمدة تصل إلى 30 يومًا باستخدام جواز سفر فقط، وسيكون النظام الجديد ساري المفعول لمدة تجريبية مدتها عام واحد.
وتسمح القواعد الحالية للروس الذين لديهم وثائق دبلوماسية أو رسمية بالسفر إلى الصين، وهناك اتفاق ثنائي بشأن الرحلات الجماعية بدون تأشيرة.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia will implement a visa-free entry system for Chinese citizens, in a reciprocal gesture following Beijing's easing of travel rules for Russians.
Putin stated - according to the official Russian news agency "TASS" -: "Of course, Russia will respond to this friendly gesture; we will do the same."
TASS reported - citing the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs - that starting from September 15, Russians will be able to enter China for stays of up to 30 days using only their passports, and the new system will be in effect for a trial period of one year.
The current rules allow Russians with diplomatic or official documents to travel to China, and there is a bilateral agreement regarding visa-free group travel.
