The American news network "CNN" revealed that Hamas has stopped participating in ceasefire negotiations in the Gaza Strip. The network quoted two informed sources as saying that Hamas has ceased to engage in any discussions regarding a ceasefire.

Earlier, the Israeli newspaper "Jerusalem Post" reported the day before yesterday (Wednesday) that Hamas links the negotiations for a ceasefire in Gaza to changes in the humanitarian situation in the region. It quoted sources saying that Hamas "informed the mediators that it would not enter negotiations until the humanitarian situation in Gaza improves."

The negotiations are experiencing a stalemate and stagnation amid warnings from mediators that failure to renew dialogue could lead to a serious deterioration in the situation inside the Gaza Strip.

An Israeli official announced that his country had delivered a document containing amendments to Hamas's response, which was submitted during the presence of the Israeli delegation in Qatar, through the mediators involved in the mediation efforts.

For its part, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority announced that pressure from the families of Israeli captives in Gaza has intensified, and the families urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to publicly declare his readiness to sign a comprehensive agreement that would return all captives and end the war, in response to a recorded video sent by Netanyahu to the families, which was relayed to them by the Coordinator for Prisoners and Missing Persons, Gal Hirsch. Netanyahu said: "Since the delegation returned from Qatar, we have not stopped trying." He added that the obstacle to reaching an agreement is Hamas's stubbornness, emphasizing his commitment to returning the captives "one way or another."
