جدد المتحدث باسم الكرملين دميتري بيسكوف التأكيد على صحة معلومات الاستخبارات الخارجية الروسية بشأن استبدال الرئيس الأوكراني فلاديمير زيلينسكي، بسفير أوكرانيا في لندن فاليري زالوجني، وقال: إن هذه المعلومات لا تحتاج إلى تأكيدات إضافية.
وردا على سؤال في هذا الشأن، أجاب بيسكوف: «لا أعتقد أن هناك حاجة للتعليق، هذه المعلومات واضحة، وتتحدث عن نفسها، لذلك لا يوجد شيء لأضيفه بهذا الشأن».
وكانت وكالة الاستخبارات الخارجية الروسية، كشفت أمس (الثلاثاء)، أن ممثلين عن الولايات المتحدة والمملكة المتحدة ناقشوا بمشاركة مسؤولين أوكرانيين كبار، آفاق استبدال الرئيس فولوديمير زيلينسكي.
وحسب الوكالة، فإن المناقشات جرت بمشاركة رئيس مكتب زيلينسكي أندريه يرماك، ورئيس الاستخبارات العسكرية الأوكرانية كيريلو بودانوف، والقائد العام السابق للقوات المسلحة الأوكرانية والسفير الحالي لدى لندن فاليري زالوجني.
وأفصحت الاستخبارات الروسية أن واشنطن ولندن رشحتا زالوجني لتولي منصب رئيس أوكرانيا، معتبرة أن استبدال زيلينسكي أصبح شرطا أساسيا لإعادة ترتيب علاقات كييف مع الغرب، وخصوصا مع الولايات المتحدة، بحسب تعبيرها.
يذكر أن زالوجني تولى قيادة القوات المسلحة الأوكرانية بين عامي 2021 و2024، ويشغل حاليًا منصب سفير أوكرانيا لدى المملكة المتحدة. وأقيل من منصبه العسكري في 8 فبراير 2024، ليحل محله الجنرال أولكسندر سيرسكي.
وكان يفترض أن تنتهي ولاية زيلينسكي عام 2024، لكن الأحكام العرفية التي فرضتها أوكرانيا في فبراير 2022 حالت دون إجراء الانتخابات الرئاسية والبرلمانية.
وشهدت العلاقة بين زالوجني وزيلينسكي قبل إقالته توترا متزايدا، وأفادت تقارير بأنهما كانا على خلاف بشأن الإستراتيجيات العسكرية والتعبئة الجماهيرية، بحسب ما أوردت شبكة «سي إن إن».
وأعلنت واشنطن في وقت سابق أنها تريد من كييف إجراء انتخابات بحلول نهاية العام، في حال تمكنت من الاتفاق على هدنة مع موسكو خلال الأشهر القادمة.

In response to a question on this matter, Peskov said: "I don't think there is a need to comment; this information is clear and speaks for itself, so there is nothing more I can add on this matter."
Yesterday (Tuesday), the Russian foreign intelligence agency revealed that representatives from the United States and the United Kingdom discussed, with the participation of senior Ukrainian officials, the prospects of replacing President Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to the agency, the discussions included the head of Zelensky's office, Andriy Yermak, the head of Ukrainian military intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, and the former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian armed forces and current ambassador to London, Valery Zaluzhny.
The Russian intelligence disclosed that Washington and London nominated Zaluzhny to take over the position of President of Ukraine, considering that replacing Zelensky has become a fundamental condition for rearranging Kyiv's relations with the West, especially with the United States, according to their statement.
It is worth noting that Zaluzhny led the Ukrainian armed forces from 2021 to 2024 and currently holds the position of Ukraine's ambassador to the United Kingdom. He was dismissed from his military position on February 8, 2024, to be succeeded by General Oleksandr Syrskyi.
Zelensky's term was supposed to end in 2024, but the state of emergency imposed by Ukraine in February 2022 prevented the holding of presidential and parliamentary elections.
Before his dismissal, the relationship between Zaluzhny and Zelensky witnessed increasing tension, with reports indicating that they were at odds over military strategies and mass mobilization, as reported by CNN.
Washington had previously announced that it wants Kyiv to hold elections by the end of the year, provided that an agreement can be reached on a ceasefire with Moscow in the coming months.
