دحضت وزارة الداخلية السورية ما يتردد من مزاعم عن حصار محافظة السويداء، مؤكدة أنها محض كذب وتضليل.
وقال المتحدث باسم الوزارة نور الدين البابا، اليوم (الأربعاء)، إن الحكومة السورية فتحت ممرات إنسانية لإدخال المساعدات لأهلنا المدنيين داخل المحافظة، بالتعاون مع المنظمات الإنسانية المحلية والدولية، لتسهيل الخروج المؤقت لمن شاء منهم خارج مناطق سيطرة المجموعات الخارجة عن القانون.
وشهدت محافظة السويداء ذات الغالبية الدرزية بدءاً من 13 يوليو الماضي ولمدة أسبوع اشتباكات بين مسلحين من البدو ومقاتلين دروز، قبل أن تتوسع مع تدخل القوات الحكومية ومسلحي العشائر. وأسفرت الاشتباكات عن مقتل العشرات، قبل أن يدخل وقف إطلاق النار حيز التنفيذ. ولا يزال وقف إطلاق النار صامداً في السويداء إلى حد كبير.
وأفادت منصة «السويداء 24» الإخبارية المحلية بأن الاحتياجات الإنسانية في محافظة السويداء فائقة، وتحتاج أضعافاً مضاعفة من هذه القوافل، نتيجة الكارثة الإنسانية التي حلت بالمحافظة وطالت مدينة السويداء و36 قرية تعرضت لأضرار كلية أو جزئية.
من جهة أخرى، أعلن وزير الطاقة التركي ألب أرسلان بيرقدار أن بلاده ستبدأ تزويد سورية بالغاز الطبيعي اعتباراً من الثاني من أغسطس القادم، مضيفاً أن أذربيجان ستشارك أيضاً في التصدير عبر بلدة كلس التركية.
وكان بيرقدار قال خلال زيارة إلى دمشق في مايو الماضي إن تركيا ستزود سورية بملياري متر مكعب من الغاز الطبيعي سنوياً، إضافة إلى ألف ميغاواط من الكهرباء.

The Syrian Ministry of Interior has refuted the rumors about a siege on the province of Sweida, confirming that they are mere lies and deception.
The ministry's spokesperson, Nour al-Din al-Baba, stated today (Wednesday) that the Syrian government has opened humanitarian corridors to allow aid to be delivered to our civilian population inside the province, in cooperation with local and international humanitarian organizations, to facilitate the temporary exit for those who wish to leave the areas controlled by lawless groups.
The province of Sweida, which has a Druze majority, witnessed clashes starting from July 13 for a week between armed Bedouins and Druze fighters, before escalating with the intervention of government forces and tribal fighters. The clashes resulted in dozens of deaths before a ceasefire came into effect. The ceasefire has largely held in Sweida.
The local news platform "Sweida 24" reported that the humanitarian needs in the province of Sweida are immense, requiring multiple times the amount of these convoys, due to the humanitarian disaster that has befallen the province, affecting the city of Sweida and 36 villages that suffered total or partial damage.
On another note, Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar announced that his country will start supplying Syria with natural gas starting from August 2, adding that Azerbaijan will also participate in the export through the Turkish town of Kilis.
Bayraktar had stated during a visit to Damascus last May that Turkey would supply Syria with two billion cubic meters of natural gas annually, in addition to one thousand megawatts of electricity.
