أعلن موقع «أكسيوس» أن الاجتماع السوري الإسرائيلي في باريس، أمس الخميس، ناقش الحفاظ على وقف إطلاق النار في جنوب سورية، والعمل المستمر على خفض التصعيد في تلك المنطقة.
واستضافت العاصمة الفرنسية اجتماع غير مسبوق بين وزير الخارجية السوري أسعد الشيباني ووزير الشؤون الاستراتيجية الإسرائيلي رون ديرمر، بحسب تصريحات المبعوث الأمريكي لسورية توم براك. وأعلن براك، الخميس، أنه التقى في باريس مسؤولين سوريين وآخرين إسرائيليين من أجل الحوار وخفض التصعيد.
وقال في تغريدة على حسابه في «إكس»: «حققنا الهدف من اللقاء مع السوريين والإسرائيليين في باريس.. السوريون والإسرائيليون أكدوا التزامهم باستمرار جهود خفض التصعيد».
فيما أفاد نائب المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية تومي بيغوت، بأن سورية تمر بـمنعطف حاسم نتيجة الأحداث التي شهدتها محافظة السويداء.
وحول الاجتماعات التي يعقدها براك مع مسؤولين سوريين وإسرائيليين، قال بيغوت إن المبعوث الأمريكي ووزير الخارجية ماركو روبيو على تواصل مع جميع الأطراف منذ أيام، وهذه الجهود مستمرة.
بدروها، أعلنت وزارة الخارجية الفرنسية أن وزير الخارجية الفرنسي جان نويل بارو سيلتقي الشيباني وبراك في باريس، اليوم الجمعة، لبحث الوضع في سورية.
ومن المقرر أن يتحدث بارو عبر الهاتف، الجمعة، مع قائد قوات سوريا الديمقراطية مظلوم عبدي، بحسبما ذكرت وزارة الخارجية الفرنسية.
ويتصاعد التوتر بين السلطات في دمشق والإدارة الذاتية الكردية التي تسيطر على مساحات شاسعة في شمال وشمال شرق سورية، مع سعي الحكومة الجديدة إلى دمجها في الدولة السورية.
وتم التوقيع على اتفاق بين الرئيس أحمد الشرع ومظلوم عبدي بهذا الشأن في 10 مارس الماضي. لكن تطبيقه يتعثر بسبب الخلافات بين الطرفين، حيث يطالب الأكراد خصوصاً بنظام حكم لامركزي، وهو ما ترفضه السلطات السورية.

Brack announced on Thursday that he met in Paris with Syrian and Israeli officials for dialogue and de-escalation.
He tweeted on his account on "X": "We achieved the goal of the meeting with the Syrians and Israelis in Paris... the Syrians and Israelis confirmed their commitment to continue de-escalation efforts."
Meanwhile, U.S. State Department Deputy Spokesperson Tom Biegun stated that Syria is at a critical turning point due to the events in the Sweida province.
Regarding the meetings that Brack is holding with Syrian and Israeli officials, Biegun said that the U.S. envoy and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have been in contact with all parties for days, and these efforts are ongoing.
For its part, the French Foreign Ministry announced that French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot will meet with al-Shibani and Brack in Paris today, Friday, to discuss the situation in Syria.
Barrot is scheduled to speak by phone on Friday with the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, according to the French Foreign Ministry.
Tensions are escalating between the authorities in Damascus and the Kurdish self-administration that controls vast areas in northern and northeastern Syria, as the new government seeks to integrate them into the Syrian state.
An agreement was signed between President Ahmad al-Shara and Mazloum Abdi on this matter on March 10. However, its implementation is stalled due to disagreements between the two sides, as the Kurds are particularly demanding a decentralized governance system, which the Syrian authorities reject.
