فيما قُتل 21 فلسطينياً بنيران جيش الاحتلال بينهم 7 من منتظري المساعدات وأصيب عدد آخر منذ الساعات الأولى لفجر اليوم (الخميس)، نفى مكتب الإعلام الحكومي في غزة دخول مساعدات إلى القطاع.
وأكد المكتب في بيان أن المجاعة تتفاقم، وأن قطاع غزة يحتاج إلا ما لا يقل عن 500 ألف كيس طحين أسبوعياً لتجنب الانهيار الإنساني الشامل، محذراً من «روايات زائفة» تتحدث عن دخول المساعدات.
وأشار إلى أن حدة المجاعة وانتشارها في محافظات قطاع غزة تتزايد بالتزامن مع إغلاق الاحتلال جميع المعابر بشكل كامل منذ 145 يوماً، ومنع إدخال حليب الأطفال والمساعدات الإنسانية، لافتاً إلى أن مستشفيات قطاع غزة سجلت أكثر من 115 حالة وفاة بسبب المجاعة وسوء التغذية، قائلاً إن ذلك يأتي في ظل انعدام شبه كامل للغذاء والماء والدواء.
وقال المكتب: «نتابع بأسف ما يروّجه بعض النشطاء خارج قطاع غزة حول انكسار المجاعة ودخول مئات الشاحنات، وننفي نفياً قاطعاً هذه الادعاءات، فهي لا تمت للواقع بصلة».
من جهة أخرى، أعلن مدير مجمع الشفاء الطبي في تصريحات صحفية وفاة 84 طفلاً وهم يبحثون عن كسرة خبز والرقم مرشح للزيادة، موضحاً أن أحد شهداء المجاعة اليوم مريض بالسكري.
وأشار إلى أن ما يحدث هو انعدام تغذية يطال جميع الفئات العمرية، وليس سوء تغذية، موضحاً أن «المستشفيات تواجه تحديات كبيرة لعلاج المريض الجائع، ولا نستطيع تقديم أي علاج له».
في الوقت ذاته، قال مسؤول إسرائيلي إن حركة حماس قدّمت رداً على مقترح وقف إطلاق النار «أفضل من الرد السابق»، مشيراً إلى أنه لا تزال هناك فجوات بين موقفي الطرفين، بحسب صحيفة «جيروزاليم بوست» الإسرائيلية.
وأشار المصدر إلى أن رد حركة «حماس» قيد الدراسة، ومن المقرر أن تُعقد اجتماعات في إسرائيل، الخميس، لمناقشة الأمر.
بدوره، قال مكتب رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو أن إسرائيل تدرس حالياً رد حركة «حماس» على مقترح وقف إطلاق النار في قطاع غزة.
وكانت حركة «حماس» قد قالت في وقت سابق اليوم إنها سلمت قبل قليل للوسطاء ردها ورد الفصائل الفلسطينية على مقترح وقف إطلاق النار.
بالمقابل، أكدت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية إصابة 7 إسرائيليين بجروح في حادثة دهس يشتبه في أنها متعمدة. وبحسب القناة 13 الإسرائيلية، وقعت حادث الدهس عند محطة حافلات في مدخل مستوطنة كفار يونا وسط الأراضي التي تحتلها إسرائيل وجرى نقل المصابين وعددهم 7 إلى المستشفى.
وأشارت إلى أن سائق الحافلة هرب ويجري البحث عنه وتعمل الشرطة على تحديد هويته.

It pointed out that the severity and spread of famine in the provinces of the Gaza Strip are increasing in conjunction with the occupation closing all crossings completely for 145 days, preventing the entry of baby formula and humanitarian aid, noting that hospitals in the Gaza Strip have recorded more than 115 deaths due to famine and malnutrition, stating that this occurs amid a near-total lack of food, water, and medicine.
The office said: "We regret what some activists outside the Gaza Strip are promoting about the breaking of the famine and the entry of hundreds of trucks, and we categorically deny these claims, as they have no relation to reality."
On the other hand, the director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex announced in press statements the death of 84 children while they were searching for a piece of bread, and the number is expected to rise, explaining that one of the famine victims today was a diabetic patient.
He pointed out that what is happening is a lack of nutrition affecting all age groups, not just malnutrition, explaining that "hospitals face great challenges in treating the hungry patient, and we cannot provide any treatment for him."
At the same time, an Israeli official said that Hamas had provided a response to the ceasefire proposal "better than the previous response," noting that there are still gaps between the positions of both parties, according to the Israeli newspaper "Jerusalem Post."
The source indicated that Hamas's response is under review, and meetings are scheduled to be held in Israel on Thursday to discuss the matter.
For his part, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel is currently studying Hamas's response to the ceasefire proposal in the Gaza Strip.
Earlier today, Hamas stated that it had just delivered its response and the response of the Palestinian factions to the ceasefire proposal to the mediators.
In contrast, Israeli media confirmed that 7 Israelis were injured in a suspected deliberate hit-and-run incident. According to Israeli Channel 13, the hit-and-run occurred at a bus station at the entrance to the settlement of Kfar Yona in the occupied territories, and the injured, numbering 7, were transported to the hospital.
It was noted that the bus driver fled, and a search is underway for him, with the police working to identify him.
