بحضور مساعد وزير الدفاع للشؤون التنفيذية الدكتور خالد بن حسين البيّاري، ومحافظ الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية المهندس أحمد بن عبدالعزيز العوهلي، ورئيس هيئة الصناعات الدفاعية بجمهورية تركيا البروفيسور خلوق غورغون، وقّعت شركة SAMI -الشريك الوطني الرائد لقطاع الدفاع والأمن إحدى شركات صندوق الاستثمارات العامة-، اتفاقيات تعاون مع ثلاث شركات تركية رائدة في قطاع الصناعات الدفاعية.
وتهدف هذه الاتفاقيات، التي وقعها نائب الرئيس التنفيذي للأنظمة الأرضية في شركة SAMI المهندس محمد بن سعود الحديب إلى توطين صناعة الأنظمة الأرضية بالمملكة، حيث تركز الاتفاقية الأولى مع شركة Nurol Makina على نقل التقنية والتصنيع للعربات العسكرية التي تصنعها الشركة التركية، في حين ركزت الاتفاقية الثانية مع شركة FNSS للصناعات الدفاعية على نقل تقنية وتصنيع العربات القتالية المدرعة وأبراج الأسلحة التي تتخصص الشركة التركية في صناعتها، فيما تهدف الاتفاقية الثالثة مع شركة ASELSAN إلى نقل التقنية والتوطين لأنظمة الأبراج القتالية في المملكة العربية السعودية، والإسهام في توطين هذه الأنظمة الحيوية ضمن مشاريع العربات القتالية.
ومن المقرر أن تكون عمليات نقل التقنية والتصنيع لجميع هذه الاتفاقيات من خلال مجمع «سامي صناعي للأنظمة الأرضية» والمجدول أن تبدأ عمليات التشغيل في الربع الرابع من هذا العام، على أن تنجز هذه المنشأة وفق لأعلى المعايير العالمية لتصنيع الأنظمة الأرضية، وسيكون هذا المرفق مركزاً للتميز في صناعة العربات المدرعة رباعية وسداسية الدفع والدفع الثماني، إضافة إلى الأبراج المسلحة، ويعمل المجمع وفقاً لمتطلبات الثورة الصناعية الرابعة، مستفيداً من تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء والروبوتات، لتنفيذ عمليات متقدمة غير مأهولة تُدار بواسطة أنظمة ذكية دون تدخل بشري مباشر، تعزز الكفاءة والجودة التشغيلية.
ويتولى قطاع الأنظمة الأرضية في الشركة السعودية للصناعات العسكرية (SAMI) العمل على تحقيق أهداف الإستراتيجية للشركة عبر الإسهام الفاعل في توطين الصناعات الدفاعية في المملكة من خلال بناء قدرات صناعية متقدمة وتقديم خدمات ومنتجات ذات جودة عالية طوال حياة المنتج وفقا لمتطلبات الجهات المستفيدة.
In the presence of the Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al-Bayari, the Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries, Engineer Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohaile, and the President of the Defense Industries Agency of the Republic of Turkey, Professor Haluk Gorgun, SAMI - the leading national partner in the defense and security sector and one of the Public Investment Fund companies - signed cooperation agreements with three leading Turkish companies in the defense industries sector.
The agreements, signed by the Executive Vice President for Ground Systems at SAMI, Engineer Mohammed bin Saud Al-Hudayb, aim to localize the production of ground systems in the Kingdom. The first agreement with Nurol Makina focuses on technology transfer and manufacturing of military vehicles produced by the Turkish company, while the second agreement with FNSS Defense Industries centers on the transfer of technology and manufacturing of armored combat vehicles and weapon towers that the Turkish company specializes in. The third agreement with ASELSAN aims to transfer technology and localize combat tower systems in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, contributing to the localization of these vital systems within combat vehicle projects.
The technology transfer and manufacturing operations for all these agreements are scheduled to take place through the "SAMI Industrial Complex for Ground Systems," with operations expected to commence in the fourth quarter of this year. This facility will be completed according to the highest global standards for manufacturing ground systems and will serve as a center of excellence in the production of four-wheeled, six-wheeled, and eight-wheeled armored vehicles, in addition to armed towers. The complex operates in accordance with the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, leveraging artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and robotics to execute advanced unmanned operations managed by intelligent systems without direct human intervention, enhancing operational efficiency and quality.
The Ground Systems sector at the Saudi Military Industries Company (SAMI) is working to achieve the company's strategic goals by actively contributing to the localization of defense industries in the Kingdom through the development of advanced industrial capabilities and providing high-quality services and products throughout the product lifecycle in accordance with the requirements of the beneficiary entities.
