أعلن مشروع مسام لنزع الألغام في اليمن اليوم (الأحد) نزع 971 لغماً وذخيرة غير منفجرة وعبوة ناسفة خلال الأسبوع الماضي، مؤكداً أن تلك الإحصائية ترفع عدد الألغام والذخائر غير المنفجرة والعبوات الناسفة التي جرى نزعها من قبل الفريق منذ مطلع الشهر الجاري إلى 3701.
وكتب المشروع السعودي التابع لمركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية على حسابه في «إكس»: نزعت فرق مسام منذ بداية يوليو وحتى 18 منه 3528 ذخيرة غير منفجرة و169 لغماً مضاداً للدبابات، موضحاً أن فريق المشروع نجح منذ انطلاقة «مسام» وحتى الآن في نزع 506437 لغماً وذخيرة غير منفجرة وعبوة ناسفة، ما أسهم في نجاحه في تطهير 68508830 متراً مربعاً من الأراضي اليمنية.
في غضون ذلك، شهدت مدينة مأرب اليوم تدشين الدورة التدريبية للدفعة الثالثة من مشروع «كفاك» لإعادة إدماج الأطفال المتأثرين بالنزاع المسلح بتمويل من مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية.
واستهدفت الدورة تدريب 25 من وليات أمور الأطفال على مهارات الخياطة وصناعة المعجنات، ضمن برنامج التمكين الاقتصادي الذي يهدف إلى تدريب 100 مستفيدة موزعات على أربع دفعات.
وأوضح مدير المشروع «كفاك» الدكتور عبدالباري الأهدل في كلمته خلال التدشين، أن المشروع مع انتهاء تدريب هذه الدفعة يكون قد وصل إلى 75 مستفيدة، لافتاً إلى أن الدفعة الرابعة ستنفذ حال الانتهاء من تدريب الثالثة ضمن خطة المشروع المستمرة.
ويؤكد المشروع بهذه الخطوات التزامه بالمساهمة في إعادة بناء ما دمرته الحرب وغرس الأمل في نفوس الأطفال وأسرهم انطلاقاً من إيمان راسخ بأن التعافي يبدأ من الإنسان.

The Masam project for mine clearance in Yemen announced today (Sunday) the removal of 971 mines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices during the past week, confirming that this statistic raises the total number of mines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices removed by the team since the beginning of this month to 3,701.
The Saudi project, affiliated with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, wrote on its account on "X": Since the beginning of July until the 18th, Masam teams have removed 3,528 unexploded ordnance and 169 anti-tank mines, explaining that the project team has successfully removed 506,437 mines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices since the launch of "Masam," contributing to the successful clearance of 68,508,830 square meters of Yemeni land.
Meanwhile, the city of Marib witnessed today the launch of the training course for the third batch of the "Kifak" project for the reintegration of children affected by armed conflict, funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.
The course aimed to train 25 caregivers of children in sewing and pastry-making skills, as part of the economic empowerment program that aims to train 100 beneficiaries distributed over four batches.
The director of the "Kifak" project, Dr. Abdulbari Al-Ahdal, explained in his speech during the launch that with the completion of training for this batch, the project will have reached 75 beneficiaries, noting that the fourth batch will be implemented upon the completion of training for the third batch as part of the ongoing project plan.
Through these steps, the project affirms its commitment to contributing to the rebuilding of what the war has destroyed and instilling hope in the hearts of children and their families, based on a firm belief that recovery begins with the individual.
