أصدرت محكمة الجنايات في الكويت قرارا بحبس كويتي وخليجيينِ لمدة 7 سنوات وتغريمهم 473 ألف دينار في قضية تزوير الجنسية الكويتية ما بين عام 1994 وحتى عام 2024، والحصول على امتيازات من الدولة بلا وجه حق، حسبما ذكرته صحيفة «القبس» الكويتية.
وكانت النيابة العامة الكويتية أسندت إلى المتهمين التزوير في محررات رسمية «شهادة إثبات الجنسية الكويتية» وشهادة «الميلاد والبطاقة المدنية»، والتي تفيد جميعها على خلاف الحقيقة نسبة أحدهم إلى مواطن كويتي، وكان ذلك بجعل وقائع مزورة في صورة وقائع صحيحة مع العلم بتزويرها، وفي سبيل ذلك مثل المتهم الأول أمام موظفين حسنيي النية وهم المكلفون بكتابة المحررات آنفة البيان حال تحريرهم إياها، وأمليت عليهم بيانات كاذبة.
The Criminal Court in Kuwait issued a ruling to imprison a Kuwaiti and two Gulf nationals for 7 years and fined them 473,000 dinars in a case of forging Kuwaiti nationality between 1994 and 2024, and obtaining privileges from the state without right, as reported by the Kuwaiti newspaper "Al-Qabas."
The Kuwaiti Public Prosecution charged the defendants with forgery in official documents, namely the "Certificate of Kuwaiti Nationality" and the "Birth Certificate and Civil ID," all of which falsely attribute one of them to being a Kuwaiti citizen. This was done by creating forged facts in the form of true facts while knowing they were forged. To this end, the first defendant appeared before well-meaning officials who were tasked with writing the aforementioned documents at the time of their preparation, and he dictated false information to them.
