The American President Donald Trump is scheduled to personally announce a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas. According to the text of the agreement reported by some media outlets, the United States and President Trump are committed to ensuring that negotiations continue in good faith until a final agreement is reached.

It is expected that the announcement will take place during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Washington on Monday, especially after Hamas's positive response and its announcement of readiness to enter negotiations regarding the implementation mechanism of the agreement.

The proposal includes a two-month ceasefire, the release of hostages and prisoners, and the handover of bodies from Israel and Hamas. It takes into account Hamas's comments on a previous text submitted to both parties.

The new text of the agreement includes:

1- Duration: A ceasefire for 60 days, with President Trump guaranteeing Israel's commitment to the ceasefire during the agreed period.

2- Release of hostages: 10 living Israeli hostages and 18 deceased from the "58 list" will be released on days 1, 7, 30, 50, and 60, as follows: 8 living hostages will be released on the first day, 5 deceased hostages' bodies will be handed over on day 7, 5 deceased hostages will be released on day 30, 2 living hostages will be released on day 50, and 8 deceased hostages will be released on day 60.

3- Humanitarian aid: It will be sent to Gaza immediately upon Hamas's approval of the ceasefire agreement. This will be according to an agreement reached regarding aid for the civilian population, which will be adhered to during the duration of the agreement, ensuring that aid arrives in sufficient and appropriate quantities in accordance with the January 19, 2025 agreement regarding humanitarian aid.

The aid will be distributed through agreed channels, including the United Nations and the Red Crescent.

4- Israeli military activity: All Israeli offensive military activities in Gaza will cease upon the entry into force of this agreement. During the ceasefire period, there will be a halt to aerial movement (military and surveillance) in Gaza for 10 hours daily, or 12 hours daily on days when there will be an exchange of hostages and prisoners.

5- Redeployment of the Israeli army:

A – On the first day, after the release of the Israeli hostages (8 living), redeployment will occur in the northern part of the Gaza Strip and in the Netzarim corridor, in accordance with Article 3 related to humanitarian aid and based on maps to be agreed upon.

B – On day 7, after the handover of the bodies of the Israeli hostages (5 deceased), redeployment will occur in the southern part of the Gaza Strip in accordance with Article 3 related to humanitarian aid and based on maps to be agreed upon.

C – Technical teams will work on the final redeployment borders through rapid negotiations.

6- Negotiations: On the first day, negotiations will begin under the auspices of the mediators (guarantors) regarding the necessary arrangements for a permanent ceasefire, including:

A – Conditions for the exchange of all remaining Israeli hostages for a number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails to be agreed upon.

B – Issues related to redeployment and withdrawals of Israeli forces and long-term security arrangements in the Gaza Strip.

C – Arrangements related to the "day after" in the Gaza Strip, which will be proposed by either party.

D – Declaration of a permanent ceasefire.

7- Presidential support: President Trump is serious about the parties' commitment to the ceasefire agreement and insists that negotiations during the temporary ceasefire period, if successfully concluded with an agreement between the parties, will lead to a permanent resolution of the conflict.

8- Release of Palestinian prisoners... "without a show": In exchange for the release of living and deceased Israeli hostages, and according to Article (2) above, Israel will release a number of Palestinian prisoners to be agreed upon. The release process will occur in parallel with the release of hostages according to Article (2) above and through an agreed mechanism without a public display and ceremonies.

9- Status of hostages and prisoners: On day 10, Hamas will provide complete information (proof of life and medical report/proof of death) regarding each of the remaining hostages.

Meanwhile, Israel will provide complete information regarding the Palestinian prisoners who have been arrested from the Gaza Strip since October 7 and the number of deceased from Gaza present in Israel.

Hamas commits to ensuring the health, care, and security of the hostages during the ceasefire.

10- Release of remaining hostages upon agreement: Negotiations regarding the necessary arrangements for a permanent ceasefire must be completed within 60 days.

Upon agreement, the remaining Israeli hostages (living and deceased) from the "58 list" submitted by Israel will be released.

If negotiations regarding the necessary arrangements for a permanent ceasefire are not completed within the mentioned period, the temporary ceasefire may be extended according to Article (11) below.

11- Guarantors: The guarantors are the mediators (the United States, Egypt, and Qatar) who will ensure that the ceasefire lasts for 60 days and will guarantee that serious discussions will be held regarding the necessary arrangements for a permanent ceasefire.

The mediators guarantee the continuation of serious negotiations for an additional period—if necessary—according to the agreed procedures in this framework.

12- Envoy presidency: The special envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, will come to the region to complete the agreement and will chair the negotiations.

13- President Trump: President Trump will personally announce the ceasefire agreement. The United States and the president are committed to working to ensure that negotiations continue in good faith until a final agreement is reached.
