The Qatari Ministry of Interior announced this evening (Monday) that the security situation in the country is stable and there is no cause for concern, following an Iranian attack on the Al Udeid Air Base. It emphasized the necessity of not being swayed by rumors or circulating inaccurate information.

The ministry stated in a post on its account on "X" that it continues to coordinate with relevant authorities, maintaining its full readiness and preparedness to monitor developments and take necessary measures to ensure the safety of citizens and residents, and to keep public life running normally. It called for not circulating any data or reposting any information not issued by official sources, and for verifying and obtaining information only from accredited official sources.

On another note, the Qatari Ministry of Defense announced that air defenses successfully intercepted a missile attack targeting Al Udeid Air Base, clarifying that due to the vigilance of the armed forces and the precautionary measures taken, the incident resulted in no fatalities or injuries.

The Qatari News Agency (QNA) reported a source confirming that the skies and lands of the State of Qatar are safe and that the Qatari armed forces are always on high alert to deal with any threat. The source also advised citizens and residents to take guidance and updates from official sources.

Today, Iran launched missiles at a U.S. base in Qatar in response to the U.S. targeting Iranian nuclear sites. According to Iranian state media, Tehran initiated "Bashair Al-Fath" operations against U.S. bases in Qatar.

Iranian state television reported that Tehran targeted bases in Qatar with 6 missiles, describing the attack as retaliatory.
