أعربت مصر عن إدانتها واستنكارها الشديدين للعدوان الإيراني على دولة قطر، الذي يُعد انتهاكاً لسيادتها وتهديداً لسلامة أراضيها وخرقاً للقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة.
ووفقاً لبيان صادر عن وزارة خارجيتها اليوم، فقد أكدت تضامنها الكامل مع دولة قطر ووقوفها إلى جانبها، معربة عن قلقها البالغ من التصعيد المتسارع الخطير الذي تشهده المنطقة.
كما أكدت رفضها الكامل لأشكال التصعيد العسكري كافة أو المساس بسيادة الدول، ودعت إلى ضرورة خفض التصعيد ووقف إطلاق النار حفاظًا على الأمن والسلم الإقليميين.
وشددت مصر في البيان على أهمية تضافر الجهود الإقليمية والدولية لاحتواء التوتر المتصاعد، الذي ينذر بخروج الأمور عن السيطرة، وبذل الجهود الدبلوماسية لمنع انزلاق المنطقة نحو مزيد من التصعيد والاحتقان.
Egypt expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian aggression against the State of Qatar, which constitutes a violation of its sovereignty, a threat to the integrity of its territory, and a breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.
According to a statement issued by its Foreign Ministry today, Egypt affirmed its full solidarity with the State of Qatar and its support for it, expressing deep concern over the dangerous and escalating tensions in the region.
It also reiterated its complete rejection of all forms of military escalation or infringement on the sovereignty of states, calling for the necessity of de-escalation and a ceasefire to preserve regional security and peace.
Egypt emphasized in the statement the importance of regional and international efforts to contain the rising tensions, which threaten to spiral out of control, and to exert diplomatic efforts to prevent the region from sliding into further escalation and tension.
