أعلنت الإدارة العامة للطيران المدني في دولة الكويت، مساء اليوم، إغلاق المجال الجوي الكويتي مؤقتاً كإجراء احترازي حرصاً على أمن وسلامة الدولة، ونظراً للإجراءات الاحترازية المتخذة في عدد من الدول المجاورة التي شملت إغلاق مطاراتها والمجال الجوي.
وقالت في بيان: «تؤكد الجهات المعنية أن هذا القرار يأتي في إطار الحفاظ على أعلى مستويات السلامة والأمن في ظل المستجدات الإقليمية»، مشيرةً إلى «التنسيق بشكل دائم مع الجهات المختصة محلياً ودولياً، لمتابعة التطورات واتخاذ ما يلزم من إجراءات».
ودعت جميع المسافرين وشركات الطيران إلى متابعة التحديثات الرسمية أولاً بأول، والتعاون مع الجهات المعنية في تنفيذ هذا القرار لما فيه المصلحة العامة.
The General Administration of Civil Aviation in the State of Kuwait announced this evening the temporary closure of Kuwaiti airspace as a precautionary measure to ensure the security and safety of the country, due to the precautionary measures taken in several neighboring countries, which included the closure of their airports and airspace.
It stated in a statement: "The relevant authorities confirm that this decision comes within the framework of maintaining the highest levels of safety and security in light of regional developments," noting that "there is ongoing coordination with the relevant local and international authorities to monitor developments and take necessary measures."
It urged all travelers and airlines to follow official updates continuously and to cooperate with the relevant authorities in implementing this decision for the public interest.
