أعلنت وزارة الدفاع القطرية أن الدفاعات الجوية القطرية نجحت في اعتراض هجمة صاروخية استهدفت قاعدة العيديد الجوية.
وبفضل الله ويقظة عناصر القوات المسلحة القطرية والإجراءات الاحترازية التي اتُخذت لم ينتج عن الحادثة أي وفيات أو إصابات.
وجدد المصدر التأكيد بأن أجواء وأراضي دولة قطر آمنة، وأن القوات المسلحة القطرية على أهبة الاستعداد دائماً للتعامل مع أي خطر.
كما نصح المصدر المواطنين والمقيمين بأخذ التوجيهات وآخر التطورات من المصادر الرسمية.
