قُتل 26 فلسطينياً في غزة بنيران جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي اليوم (السبت)، بينهم 11 من منتظري المساعدات الإنسانية، في وقت تتفاقم فيه المعاناة في القطاع المنكوب، إذ يمنع الاحتلال دخول شحنات الوقود إلى هناك منذ 16 أسبوعاً.
وأعلنت وزارة الصحة في غزة وصول 202 قتيل و1037 مصاباً إلى مستشفيات قطاع غزة خلال يومين، ما رفع حصيلة الضحايا منذ 7 أكتوبر 2023 إلى 55,908، وحصيلة المصابين إلى 131,138.
من جانبها، أفادت منظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة (اليونيسيف) بأن 5100 طفل، تتراوح أعمارهم بين 6 أشهر و5 سنوات، دخلوا المستشفيات لتلقي العلاج من سوء التغذية الحاد في شهر مايو.
واعتبرت أن هذا العدد يعني زيادة تقارب 50% عن أبريل، وزيادة 150% عن فبراير عندما كان وقف إطلاق النار سارياً. وأضافت أنه بين 1 يناير و30 مايو دخل أكثر من 16,700 طفل لتلقي العلاج من سوء التغذية في غزة.
وقال المتحدث باسم الأمم المتحدة ستيفان دوجاريك: إن الغذاء والماء والعلاجات الغذائية التي يحتاجها هؤلاء الأطفال بشدة تُمنع من الوصول إليهم.
واتهم إسرائيل بمنع وصول شحنات الوقود إلى غزة لمدة 16 أسبوعاً، مؤكداً أن مسؤولي الأمم المتحدة تمكنوا من استعادة الوقود الموجود بالفعل في غزة من محطة التحرير برفح الأربعاء الماضي.
ونُقل عن مسؤولي الشؤون الإنسانية في الأمم المتحدة أن السلطات الإسرائيلية أصدرت أمر إخلاء آخر لحيَّين سكنيَّين تعيش فيهما مئات العائلات في محافظة غزة، إضافة إلى إطلاق صواريخ فلسطينية من تلك المنطقة.
وكشفت «وكالة أسوشيتد برس» في تقرير لها أن الفلسطينيين يواجهون صراعاً مميتاً كل يوم على أمل الحصول على الطعام. وذكرت أن الجنود الإسرائيليين يطلقون وابلاً من النيران على الحشود التي تعبر المناطق العسكرية للوصول إلى المساعدات، فيما ينتظر اللصوص المدججون بالسكاكين في كمين لمن ينجح في الحصول على شيء من المساعدات. ونقلت عن فلسطينيين مجوّعين في القطاع قولهم «إن الفوضى تتفاقم مع إجبارهم على التنافس لإطعام عائلاتهم».

26 Palestinians were killed in Gaza by the fire of the Israeli occupation army today (Saturday), including 11 aid seekers, as the suffering in the besieged sector worsens, with the occupation preventing fuel shipments from entering for 16 weeks.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that 202 dead and 1,037 injured have arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past two days, raising the death toll since October 7, 2023, to 55,908, and the number of injured to 131,138.
For its part, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) reported that 5,100 children, aged between 6 months and 5 years, were hospitalized for treatment of severe malnutrition in May.
It noted that this number represents an increase of nearly 50% compared to April, and a 150% increase compared to February when the ceasefire was in effect. It added that between January 1 and May 30, more than 16,700 children were treated for malnutrition in Gaza.
UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric stated that the food, water, and nutritional treatments that these children desperately need are being prevented from reaching them.
He accused Israel of blocking fuel shipments to Gaza for 16 weeks, confirming that UN officials managed to retrieve the fuel that was already in Gaza from the Al-Tahrir station in Rafah last Wednesday.
Humanitarian officials from the UN reported that Israeli authorities issued another evacuation order for two residential neighborhoods where hundreds of families live in the Gaza governorate, in addition to the launching of Palestinian rockets from that area.
The Associated Press revealed in a report that Palestinians face a deadly struggle every day in hopes of obtaining food. It mentioned that Israeli soldiers are firing a barrage of bullets at crowds crossing military areas to reach aid, while knife-wielding thieves lie in wait for those who succeed in getting something from the aid. It quoted starving Palestinians in the sector saying, "The chaos is escalating as they are forced to compete to feed their families."
