Twenty-four Israelis were killed as a result of Iranian missile strikes targeting Israel since last Friday, in response to the Israeli attack, according to a new toll released by Prime Minister Netanyahu's office today (Monday).

The toll included an additional 11 fatalities since midnight last night, according to official data that reported 4 people killed in Petah Tikva near Tel Aviv, 3 in Haifa, and one in Bnei Brak (a suburb of Tel Aviv). It also included two victims retrieved from the rubble due to a strike in Bat Yam the previous day, and one victim at an unspecified location.

Yedioth Ahronoth reported from medical sources that 8 Israelis were killed, and 287 were injured due to the fall of Iranian missiles on central Israel in new attacks launched by Iran early today, which caused buildings to collapse in Haifa and Tel Aviv. Authorities confirmed that efforts are ongoing to rescue Israelis trapped under the rubble.

The newspaper Israel Hayom quoted eyewitnesses stating that the scale of destruction is immense in Greater Tel Aviv. Haaretz reported that some of the Iranian attacks targeted Israeli military sites in addition to infrastructure in the cities.

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported the collapse of a building that was directly hit by an Iranian missile in the Tel Aviv area, stating that 3 people are still missing at one site in Haifa, and their lives are in danger. Channel 13 confirmed that communication with the three missing individuals under the rubble in Haifa remains cut off.

Israeli media reported that rescue teams are dealing with 3 sites where individuals are trapped under the rubble in the Gush Dan area of Tel Aviv, mentioning fears of losing 6 people in two locations where Iranian missiles fell, and confirmed the presence of trapped individuals under the rubble in Haifa amid growing concerns for their fate after losing contact with them.

The commander of the central district in the Israeli police stated that many buildings sustained damage due to the Iranian missiles.

Channel 14 quoted the spokesperson for the Israeli police saying that the situation is extremely difficult in the sites targeted by the Iranian missiles in the central region.

The Israeli Home Front Command announced that the Iranian attack extended from Eilat in the south to the city of Naqoura in the north, adding that sirens are sounding in Tel Aviv and other areas after detecting missile launches from Iran.

For his part, the U.S. ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, announced that minor damage occurred to the U.S. embassy in Tel Aviv due to an Iranian missile falling nearby, confirming that no injuries were reported among embassy staff. He stated that the embassy and consulate in Israel will remain closed today as the precautionary measure continues.

Maariv reported from the spokesperson for Israeli emergency services that shelters may not withstand the Iranian missiles.

Meanwhile, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the implementation of a new wave of missile attacks on Israel, describing them as "the strongest and most destructive compared to previous operations." They confirmed that the strikes directly targeted Israel's command and control systems as part of a qualitative escalation in the nature of the targets and tactics used.

They explained that the operation relied on innovative methods, information technologies, and advanced equipment, which enabled the missiles to hit their targets with high precision despite American support for Israel and its possession of modern defense technology.
