دعا الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون اليوم (السبت) طهران لضبط النفس لتجنب التصعيد في المنطقة، وذلك خلال اتصال هاتفي مع نظيره الإيراني مسعود بيزشكيان.
وكتب ماكرون عبر منصة «إكس»: «في ضوء الخطر الجسيم المتمثل في زعزعة الاستقرار في المنطقة، دعوتُ إلى عدم استهداف منشآتنا الدبلوماسية ورعايانا في إيران والمنطقة عموماً تحت أي ظرف من الظروف، كما دعوت إلى التحلي بأقصى درجات ضبط النفس لتجنب التصعيد»، واصفاً البرنامج النووي الإيراني بأنه يمثل «مصدر قلق بالغ».
وقال ماكرون: يجب التوصل إلى حل بشأنه عبر التفاوض، مضيفاً: «لذلك، دعوتُ الرئيس بيزشكيان إلى العودة سريعاً إلى طاولة المفاوضات للتوصل إلى اتفاق، وهو السبيل الوحيد لخفض التصعيد».
وأشار إلى أن فرنسا على أهبة الاستعداد للمساهمة وحشد كل جهودها لتحقيق هذا الهدف.
وكان موقع «أكسيوس» قد نقل عن مسؤولين قولهم إن وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي أبلغ عدداً من نظرائه أن طهران ستكون مستعدة لاستئناف المفاوضات بعد الانتهاء من الرد على إسرائيل.
فيما أعرب مسؤول في الخارجية الأمريكية عن أمله بانضمام طهران قريباً إلى المحادثات، مؤكداً التزام بلاده بمسار المفاوضات مع إيران، رغم إلغاء جولة (الأحد).
من جهة أخرى، شدد الرئيسان المصري عبدالفتاح السيسي والتركي رجب طيب أردوغان أن النهج التصعيدي يمكن أن تترتب عليه تداعيات كارثية على المنطقة وعلى الأمن والاستقرار الإقليميين، ويعرّض مقدرات شعوب المنطقة لخطر بالغ، بما يهدد بانزلاق الشرق الأوسط بأكمله إلى حالة من الفوضى العارمة ستتحمل عواقبها كافة الدول دون استثناء.
وأكد الرئيسان على ضرورة الوقف الفوري للأعمال العسكرية والعودة إلى المفاوضات بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران بوساطة عمانية، باعتبارها السبيل الوحيد للوصول إلى حل سلمي للأزمة الجارية.

French President Emmanuel Macron called on Tehran today (Saturday) to exercise restraint to avoid escalation in the region during a phone call with his Iranian counterpart, Masoud Pezeshkian.
Macron wrote on the platform "X": "In light of the serious danger posed by destabilization in the region, I urged that our diplomatic facilities and our nationals in Iran and the region in general not be targeted under any circumstances, and I called for the utmost restraint to avoid escalation," describing the Iranian nuclear program as a "source of grave concern."
Macron stated that a solution must be reached through negotiation, adding: "Therefore, I urged President Pezeshkian to return quickly to the negotiating table to reach an agreement, which is the only way to reduce escalation."
He noted that France is ready to contribute and mobilize all its efforts to achieve this goal.
The Axios website reported that officials said Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi informed several of his counterparts that Tehran would be ready to resume negotiations after responding to Israel.
Meanwhile, a U.S. State Department official expressed hope that Tehran would soon join the talks, affirming his country's commitment to the negotiation process with Iran, despite the cancellation of the (Sunday) round.
On another note, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized that an escalatory approach could have catastrophic repercussions on the region and on regional security and stability, putting the resources of the peoples of the region at serious risk, threatening to plunge the entire Middle East into a state of rampant chaos that all countries would bear the consequences of without exception.
The two presidents stressed the necessity of an immediate cessation of military actions and a return to negotiations between the United States and Iran, mediated by Oman, as the only way to reach a peaceful solution to the ongoing crisis.
