أعلنت وزارة النقل العراقية فجر اليوم إيقاف حركة الطيران بشكل تام في جميع المطارات العراقية، وإغلاق الأجواء العراقية بشكل مؤقت، حفاظًا على سلامة المسافرين في ظل التوتر الأمني الإقليمي.
ونقلت وكالة الأنباء العراقية الرسمية عن بيان لوزارة النقل أنه «بسبب التوترات الإقليمية تم إيقاف الملاحة الجوية العراقية وإغلاق الأجواء العراقية إلى إشعار آخر، من أجل الحفاظ على سلامة الطيران المدني في الأجواء العراقية».
The Iraqi Ministry of Transport announced early this morning the complete suspension of air traffic at all Iraqi airports and the temporary closure of Iraqi airspace, in order to ensure the safety of travelers amid regional security tensions.
The official Iraqi News Agency reported a statement from the Ministry of Transport stating that "due to regional tensions, Iraqi air navigation has been suspended and Iraqi airspace closed until further notice, in order to maintain the safety of civil aviation in Iraqi airspace."
