استقبل الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع وزوجته لطيفة الدروبي اليوم (السبت)، مجموعة من النساء السوريات بمناسبة عيد الأضحى المبارك. ونشرت الرئاسة السورية صوراً متعددة من الاستقبال تجمع الشرع وزوجته مع الحضور.
وأشاد الشرع بالدور الريادي والتاريخي الذي لعبته المرأة السورية في مختلف المراحل، مؤكداً أن المرأة السورية كانت وما زالت عنصراً محورياً وشريكاً أساسياً في مسيرة العمل والبناء.
وأوضح أن المرأة السورية لم تكن مجرد شاهدة على الألم بل كانت صانعة للكرامة ثابتة في وجه المعاناة، ومتمسكة بحقوقها وحقوق شعبها.
وأشار الشرع إلى تنوع أدوار المرأة السورية خلال سنوات الثورة، حيث كانت المربية التي غرست القيم والمبادئ في الأجيال، والمعتقلة التي واجهت السجون بثبات، والأم الصابرة والزوجة الداعمة. واستحضر جانباً شخصياً من تجربته متحدثاً عن الدور العظيم الذي أدته زوجته خلال سنوات الثورة ومقدار ما واجهته من مصاعب وتحديات إلى جانبه.
وشدد الشرع على أن المرأة السورية لم تكن يوماً على الهامش بل كانت حاضرة بقوة خلال الثورة، وهي اليوم حاضرة في معركة الإعمار وبناء مستقبل سورية.
The Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara and his wife Latifa al-Droubi received today (Saturday) a group of Syrian women on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha. The Syrian presidency published multiple photos from the reception showing al-Shara and his wife with the attendees.
Al-Shara praised the pioneering and historical role that Syrian women have played at various stages, affirming that Syrian women have been and continue to be a pivotal element and a key partner in the journey of work and construction.
He explained that Syrian women were not merely witnesses to pain but were makers of dignity, steadfast in the face of suffering, and clinging to their rights and the rights of their people.
Al-Shara pointed to the diversity of roles that Syrian women have taken on during the years of the revolution, as they were the educators who instilled values and principles in generations, the detainees who faced prisons with resilience, the patient mothers, and the supportive wives. He recalled a personal aspect of his experience, speaking about the significant role his wife played during the years of the revolution and the challenges and difficulties she faced alongside him.
Al-Shara emphasized that Syrian women have never been on the margins but have been powerfully present during the revolution, and they are today present in the battle of reconstruction and building the future of Syria.
