ترمب يرجّح عدم التوصل لاتفاق بين روسيا وأوكرانيا

U.S. President Donald Trump predicted that Russia and Ukraine would not reach an agreement. During a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz at the White House today (Thursday), he expressed his hopes for reaching a trade agreement regarding tariffs between Washington and Berlin, while Merz spoke about the existence of good rules for cooperation between the two countries.

Trump stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin wanted to take complete control of Ukraine, emphasizing that it would be great if this conflict ended, and perhaps it will... but we are constantly receiving news, fighting here and there, something happened two days ago with the Ukrainian spider network attack deep in Russia, and now there is a response.

The U.S. President announced that Putin is not happy about this, and neither am I. But I believe we will ultimately succeed in stopping the bloodshed.

The U.S. President indicated that he would discuss with his German counterpart the issue of the U.S. military presence on German soil, noting that American forces would remain in Berlin if desired. Trump pointed out that Germany is allocating more funds for defense spending, and we will reach a time when Washington will ask Berlin to stop when reaching the appropriate limit. He mentioned that he has spoken with the German Chancellor several times about various issues, the most prominent of which is the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
