دشّن أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، بديوان الإمارة اليوم (الأحد)، حملة التطعيم ضدّ الأنفلونزا الموسمية، التي ينفذها تجمّع الشرقية الصحي، بحضور الرئيس التنفيذي للتجمّع الدكتور عبدالعزيز الغامدي.
وأشاد أمير المنطقة الشرقية بالدعم الذي يحظى به القطاع الصحي من القيادة، مؤكداً أن هذا الدعم يعكس حرصها على تهيئة بيئة صحية آمنة تعزز من صحة الإنسان وجودة حياته، مثمناً الدور الفاعل الذي تقوم به القطاعات الصحية في تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي ورفع مستوى المناعة العامة، مشيراً سموه إلى أهمية التطعيم ضد الأمراض الموسمية، خصوصًا للفئات الأكثر عرضة للمضاعفات الصحية.
من جانبه أوضح الرئيس التنفيذي لتجمّع الشرقية الصحي الدكتور عبدالعزيز الغامدي أن الحملة تهدف إلى الوصول للفئات ذات الأولوية في الحصول على لقاح الإنفلونزا، مبينًا أن التطعيم متاح في جميع مراكز الرعاية الأولية التابعة للتجمع، إضافةً إلى تنظيم فرق ميدانية للوصول إلى المستفيدين في أماكنهم.
ورفع الدكتور الغامدي شكره وتقديره لأمير المنطقة الشرقية على دعمه وحرصه الدائم على متابعة المبادرات الصحية الوقائية، مؤكداً أن هذا الاهتمام يشكل دافعًا لتعزيز الجهود الرامية إلى رفع مستوى السلامة والصحة العامة في المنطقة.
The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, inaugurated today (Sunday) the seasonal influenza vaccination campaign at the Emirate's Diwan, implemented by the Eastern Health Cluster, in the presence of the cluster's CEO, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Ghamdi.
The Prince of the Eastern Province praised the support that the health sector receives from the leadership, affirming that this support reflects their commitment to creating a safe health environment that enhances human health and quality of life. He appreciated the active role played by health sectors in raising community awareness and improving overall immunity, pointing out the importance of vaccination against seasonal diseases, especially for those most susceptible to health complications.
For his part, the CEO of the Eastern Health Cluster, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Ghamdi, explained that the campaign aims to reach priority groups for receiving the influenza vaccine, indicating that vaccination is available at all primary care centers affiliated with the cluster, in addition to organizing field teams to reach beneficiaries in their locations.
Dr. Al-Ghamdi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Prince of the Eastern Province for his support and constant concern for monitoring preventive health initiatives, affirming that this interest serves as a motivation to enhance efforts aimed at improving safety and public health in the region.
