المملكة والمكسيك توقعان مذكرة تفاهم في مجال العمل المحاسبي والرقابي والمهني

The Kingdom, represented by the President of the General Court of Accounts, Dr. Hussam bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Anqari, and the United Mexican States, represented by the President of the Supreme Audit Office, David Colmenares Paramo, signed a memorandum of understanding yesterday (Thursday) to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries in the field of accounting, auditing, and professional work, in the Mexican capital, Mexico City, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United Mexican States, Fahd bin Ali Al-Manawer.

Through this memorandum of understanding, both entities aim to exchange experiences, build professional capacities, and develop professional work guides in the areas of financial auditing, compliance, and performance review; through a number of joint workshops and specialized training programs on topics of mutual interest, within the framework of both parties' membership in the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI).

For his part, Dr. Al-Anqari affirmed the General Court of Accounts' continuous efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation and maximize partnership with counterpart entities in brotherly and friendly countries, through numerous memoranda of understanding signed between the court and those entities, which reflect the high professional status that the court occupies at the regional and international levels, and its important role in sharing its distinguished professional experiences with member entities in regional and international organizations of supreme audit institutions.

In turn, David Colmenares Paramo highlighted the importance of this memorandum in enhancing joint work between the Supreme Audit Office of the United Mexican States and the General Court of Accounts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; contributing to improving performance efficiency and elevating the quality of audit work at both counterpart entities.

Following the signing, both sides held a bilateral meeting to discuss aspects of joint work and ways to align on several related topics, with the presence of specialists from both entities.
