The Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, the Acting President of the Public Transport Authority, and the head of the Kingdom's delegation participating in the Universal Postal Union conference held in the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Rami bin Mohammed Al-Rumaih, confirmed that the Kingdom is moving forward in developing the postal and logistics sector in line with the objectives of Vision 2030 through ambitious programs for digital transformation, enhancing supply chain efficiency, and expanding the scope of international partnerships.

During his speech at the opening ceremony of the conference, the Deputy Minister of Transport explained that the Kingdom has given significant attention to the postal and logistics sector to become a national logistics platform that contributes to supporting e-commerce and serving the economic and social development of member states, emphasizing the importance of exchanging experiences and enhancing cooperation among member countries to ensure a sustainable and resilient future for this vital sector.

Al-Rumaih praised the excellent organization and hosting of the conference by the United Arab Emirates and their generous hospitality, affirming that the holding of this international event reflects the pivotal role of the postal and logistics sector in connecting the world and promoting sustainable development.

He called for continued joint efforts to develop more efficient and inclusive postal systems that serve people and support economic development, noting that the Kingdom will remain an active supporter of the goals of the Universal Postal Union and its initiatives aimed at building a more integrated and sustainable future for the sector.
