ضبطت دوريات القوات الخاصة للأمن البيئي مواطنين مخالفين لنظام البيئة لارتكابهما مخالفة الشروع في الصيد دون ترخيص في محمية الملك سلمان الملكية، بحوزتهما بندقية شوزن، وأخرى هوائية و(79) ذخيرة شوزن، وطُبقت الإجراءات النظامية بحقهما.
وشددت القوات على الالتزام بنظام البيئة ولوائحه التنفيذية التي تجرم صيد الكائنات الفطرية، مؤكدةً أن عقوبة الصيد في أماكن محظور الصيد فيها غرامة (5,000) ريال، وعقوبة الصيد دون ترخيص غرامة (10,000) ريال، وعقوبة استخدام بنادق الشوزن في الصيد دون ترخيص غرامة (100,000) ريال.
وأهابت في الوقت ذاته بالمبادرة بالإبلاغ عن أي حالات تمثل اعتداءً على البيئة أو الحياة الفطرية، وذلك بالاتصال بالرقم (911) بمناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والرياض والشرقية، و(999) و(996) في بقية مناطق المملكة، وستعامل جميع البلاغات بسرية تامة دون أدنى مسؤولية على المبلّغ.
The special forces of environmental security apprehended citizens violating environmental regulations for attempting to hunt without a license in the King Salman Royal Reserve, in possession of a shotgun, an air rifle, and (79) shotgun cartridges. Legal procedures were applied against them.
The forces emphasized the importance of adhering to environmental regulations and their executive bylaws, which criminalize the hunting of wild species. They confirmed that the penalty for hunting in prohibited areas is a fine of (5,000) riyals, the penalty for hunting without a license is a fine of (10,000) riyals, and the penalty for using shotguns for hunting without a license is a fine of (100,000) riyals.
At the same time, they urged the public to report any cases of environmental or wildlife violations by calling (911) in the Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, and (999) and (996) in other areas of the Kingdom. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality, with no liability for the informant.
