دعت المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني إلى أخذ الحيطة والحذر، وضرورة البقاء في أماكن آمنة والابتعاد عن أماكن تجمُّع السيول والأودية وعدم السباحة فيها، والالتزام بالتعليمات المعلنة عبر وسائل الإعلام المختلفة ومواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، وذلك لاستمرار هطول الأمطار الرعدية على بعض مناطق المملكة، حتى يوم السبت المقبل.
وأوضحت أن منطقة مكة المكرمة ستتأثر بأمطار متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول وتساقط البرد ورياح هابطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار، تشمل الطائف، وميسان، وأضم، والعرضيات، والليث، والقنفذة، مشيرةً إلى أن مناطق جازان وعسير والباحة ستتأثر بأمطار متوسطة إلى غزيرة.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense has called for caution and vigilance, emphasizing the necessity to stay in safe places and avoid areas where floods and valleys gather, as well as refraining from swimming in them. It is important to adhere to the instructions announced through various media outlets and social media platforms, due to the continued occurrence of thunderstorm rains in some regions of the Kingdom, until next Saturday.
It clarified that the Makkah region will be affected by moderate to heavy rains that will lead to the flow of floods, hail, and descending winds that stir up dust and sand, including Taif, Maysan, Adham, Al-Ardiyat, Al-Lith, and Al-Qunfudhah. It also indicated that the regions of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha will be affected by moderate to heavy rains.
