شاركت الشركة السعودية للكهرباء ضمن فريق منظومة الطاقة السعودية في وفد المملكة المشارك في معرض دمشق الدولي 2025، حيث تم توقيع مذكرتي تفاهم مع وزارة الطاقة السورية، وذلك بحضور الرئيس التنفيذي المكلف للشركة المهندس خالد بن سالم الغامدي.
وتأتي هذه المشاركة في إطار حرص الشركة على دعم مسيرة التعاون المشترك بين المملكة والدول الشقيقة في مجالات الطاقة، وتعزيز حضورها الدولي كإحدى أكبر شركات الكهرباء على مستوى المنطقة. كما تعكس هذه الخطوة الدور الاستراتيجي الذي تقوم به الشركة في تطوير الشراكات الدولية وتبادل الخبرات بما يسهم في دعم خطط النمو والتنمية المستدامة.
وتضمنت مذكرة التفاهم الأولى الموقعة بين الشركة والمؤسسة العامة لنقل وتوزيع الكهرباء في سورية، مجالات واسعة للتعاون الفني والاستشاري تشمل تقديم الدعم في مواجهة التحديات التشغيلية، وتحسين كفاءة الشبكات الكهربائية، ومشاركة الخبرات، إضافة إلى تبادل المعرفة في إدارة الشبكات ورفع مستوى الموثوقية والابتكار التقني. كما اتفق الجانبان على تشكيل فرق عمل مشتركة لتحديد مجالات التعاون التفصيلية خلال الأشهر القادمة، وصولاً إلى إبرام اتفاقيات تنفيذية ملزمة بحلول الربع الثاني من عام 2026.
أما المذكرة الثانية فقد وُقعت بين شركة كهرباء السعودية لتطوير المشاريع «PDC» التابعة للسعودية للكهرباء – والمؤسسة العامة لنقل وتوزيع الكهرباء في سورية، وتركز على المجالات الهندسية والاستشارية وتنفيذ مشروعات محطات النقل والتوزيع، بما يعزز البنية التحتية الكهربائية ويدعم المشاريع التطويرية المستقبلية.
وأكدت الشركة السعودية للكهرباء أن هذه الاتفاقيات تمثل امتدادًا لمساعيها في نقل المعرفة والخبرات تحت إشراف ودعم وزارة الطاقة، بما يسهم في رفع كفاءة البنية التحتية لقطاع الكهرباء وتعزيز الموثوقية ودعم الاستدامة. كما نوَّهت بأن مشاركتها في معرض دمشق الدولي تأتي ضمن دورها الريادي في تمثيل قطاع الطاقة السعودي إقليميًا ودوليًا، وبما ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 في توطيد العلاقات الاقتصادية وتوسيع آفاق الشراكات الاستثمارية.
The Saudi Electricity Company participated as part of the Saudi Energy System team in the Kingdom's delegation to the Damascus International Fair 2025, where two memorandums of understanding were signed with the Syrian Ministry of Energy, in the presence of the acting CEO of the company, Engineer Khalid bin Salem Al-Ghamdi.
This participation comes as part of the company's commitment to supporting the joint cooperation between the Kingdom and brotherly countries in the energy sectors, and enhancing its international presence as one of the largest electricity companies in the region. This step also reflects the strategic role the company plays in developing international partnerships and exchanging expertise, contributing to supporting growth and sustainable development plans.
The first memorandum of understanding signed between the company and the General Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company in Syria included broad areas for technical and consulting cooperation, including providing support in facing operational challenges, improving the efficiency of electrical networks, sharing expertise, in addition to exchanging knowledge in network management and enhancing reliability and technical innovation. The two sides also agreed to form joint working teams to identify detailed areas of cooperation in the coming months, leading to the conclusion of binding executive agreements by the second quarter of 2026.
The second memorandum was signed between the Saudi Electricity Company for Project Development “PDC” affiliated with the Saudi Electricity Company and the General Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company in Syria, focusing on engineering and consulting areas and implementing transmission and distribution station projects, thereby enhancing the electrical infrastructure and supporting future development projects.
The Saudi Electricity Company confirmed that these agreements represent an extension of its efforts to transfer knowledge and expertise under the supervision and support of the Ministry of Energy, contributing to enhancing the efficiency of the electricity sector's infrastructure, improving reliability, and supporting sustainability. It also noted that its participation in the Damascus International Fair aligns with its pioneering role in representing the Saudi energy sector regionally and internationally, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to strengthen economic relations and expand investment partnership horizons.
