أكدت المديرية العامة للجوازات أن خدمة تجزئة رسوم الإقامة لا تُطبق على العمالة المنزلية ومن في حكمهم، مشددة على أن الرسوم يتم سدادها كاملة وفق الأنظمة والتعليمات المعمول بها.
وأوضحت الجوازات أن العمالة المنزلية خارج نطاق هذه الخدمة، وهو ما يستوجب على أصحاب العمل تسوية الرسوم المستحقة بشكل كامل قبل إصدار أي تأشيرات تخصهم.
ويأتي هذا التوضيح في إطار التزام الجوازات بتوضيح اللوائح والأنظمة، والتفاعل مع استفسارات المواطنين والمقيمين عبر القنوات الرسمية ومنصات التواصل الاجتماعي.
وقد جاء ذلك عقب طرح أحد المواطنين استفساراً عبر منصة «إكس»، أشار فيه إلى أن لديه عاملة منزلية انتهت إقامتها منذ 8 أشهر، متسائلاً عن إمكانية تجديد 3 أشهر فقط لإصدار تأشيرة خروج نهائي.
The General Directorate of Passports confirmed that the service of splitting residence fees does not apply to domestic workers and those in similar situations, emphasizing that the fees must be paid in full according to the applicable regulations and instructions.
The Passports Department clarified that domestic workers are outside the scope of this service, which requires employers to settle the due fees in full before issuing any visas related to them.
This clarification comes as part of the Passports Department's commitment to explaining regulations and laws, and engaging with inquiries from citizens and residents through official channels and social media platforms.
This followed a citizen's inquiry on the "X" platform, in which he mentioned that he has a domestic worker whose residence permit expired 8 months ago, asking about the possibility of renewing it for just 3 months to issue a final exit visa.
