أعلنت وزارة الإعلام إقامة «واحة الإعلام»، بالشراكة مع هيئة الاتصالات والفضاء والتقنية خلال الفترة من 31 أغسطس - 3 سبتمبر 2025، في مركز الملك عبدالعزيز للمؤتمرات بمدينة الرياض، تزامناً مع أعمال الندوة العالمية لمنظمي الاتصالات (GSR25).
وتُعد «واحة الإعلام» منصة متكاملة أطلقتها وزارة الإعلام؛ بهدف تعزيز الحضور الإعلامي للمملكة في أبرز المحافل الدولية، وتوفير بيئة احترافية تواكب التحولات التي تشهدها المملكة ضمن رؤية 2030.
وتقام النسخة الـ10 من «واحة الإعلام» على مساحة تبلغ (4,000) متر مربع، مجهزة بأحدث التقنيات، وتضم عدداً من المناطق المخصصة للإعلاميين، ومن المتوقع أن تستقبل أكثر من (2,500) إعلامي محليّ ودوليّ.
وتتكوّن الواحة من مناطق رئيسة عدة، أبرزها: منطقة «وادي الواحة»، التي تتيح شاشات للبث المباشر لأعمال المعرض المصاحب والحفل الافتتاحي للندوة، إلى جانب مجموعة من الخدمات الإعلامية والتقنية المتخصصة، وتضم منطقة «معرض الواحة»، التي تسرد حكايا المشروعات التحوّلية لرؤية المملكة 2030، وتعرض أبرز الابتكارات والتقنيات التنظيمية (RegTech) عبر أجنحة تفاعلية متكاملة، إضافة إلى أربعة أستوديوهات مخصصة للقنوات التلفزيونية المحلية والدولية.
وتشارك في أجنحة الواحة جهات حكومية وخاصة عدة، من بينها وزارة الرياضة، وهيئة تطوير منطقة عسير، ووكالة الفضاء السعودية، والبنك الأهلي السعودي، وموبايلي، وتضم أجنحة لمشاريع ومبادرات وطنية كبرى منها: نيوم، وروح السعودية، إضافةً إلى شركات محلية وعالمية في قطاع الاتصالات والتقنية.
يُشار إلى أن الندوة العالمية لمنظمي الاتصالات تُعد حدثاً دوليّاً سنويّاً بارزاً، تستضيفه المملكة العربية السعودية في العاصمة الرياض بالشراكة مع الاتحاد الدولي للاتصالات (ITU)، تحت شعار «التنظيم من أجل التنمية الرقمية المستدامة».
ويشهد الحدث حضوراً واسعاً من أصحاب المعالي الوزراء، ورؤساء هيئات تنظيمية، ومطوري السياسات، وقادة القطاع الخاص من أكثر من 190 دولة حول العالم.
The Ministry of Media announced the establishment of the "Media Oasis," in partnership with the Communications, Space, and Technology Commission, during the period from August 31 to September 3, 2025, at the King Abdulaziz Conference Center in Riyadh, coinciding with the Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR25).
The "Media Oasis" is an integrated platform launched by the Ministry of Media, aimed at enhancing the media presence of the Kingdom at prominent international forums and providing a professional environment that aligns with the transformations taking place in the Kingdom as part of Vision 2030.
The 10th edition of the "Media Oasis" will be held over an area of (4,000) square meters, equipped with the latest technologies, and will include several areas designated for media professionals, with expectations to welcome more than (2,500) local and international media personnel.
The oasis consists of several main areas, the most notable of which is the "Oasis Valley," which features screens for live broadcasting of the accompanying exhibition and the opening ceremony of the symposium, alongside a range of specialized media and technical services. It also includes the "Oasis Exhibition" area, which narrates the transformative projects of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and showcases the most prominent innovations and regulatory technologies (RegTech) through integrated interactive pavilions, in addition to four studios dedicated to local and international television channels.
Several governmental and private entities will participate in the oasis pavilions, including the Ministry of Sports, the Asir Development Authority, the Saudi Space Agency, the National Commercial Bank, and Mobily, featuring pavilions for major national projects and initiatives such as NEOM and Saudi Spirit, along with local and international companies in the communications and technology sector.
It is noteworthy that the Global Symposium for Regulators is a prominent annual international event hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the capital, Riyadh, in partnership with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), under the slogan "Regulation for Sustainable Digital Development."
The event will witness a wide attendance from esteemed ministers, heads of regulatory bodies, policy developers, and leaders from the private sector from more than 190 countries around the world.
